How are all you new mummies doing?

What bex said - if he cannot explain how she's getting hurt then that raises serious questions about the care she's receiving when with him!

Arghhhh I'm going to scream selfish selfish men I feel on the verge of just telling him to piss off n not come back yesterday I had Macie's bug but had to carry on anyway as he wouldn't look after her because he said she wanted me cus she was poorly n today he's got the bug and has been in bed all day and it's like the end of the world Macie just wants cuddling which is fine but I feel on edge n need to clean as I no it's mad but I feel the house is really un hygienic because of the bug I'm just so fed up of him it's not just this loads of stuff I've tried talking to him n apparently I've got something wrong with me sorry 4 rant xxxx

Hi ladies, literally never stopped this weekend so just catching up!

Aw nat hope your ok, sometimes you just hit your limit!! Hope your giving him what for now.

My girl has been constantly rolling now since thu - yay! Now you can't get her to stop haha. Constantly having to turn her back over.

We are away tomorrow morning so wish me luck - eeek!!

Silly man natalilly! Well done S Hope yous all have a great time Jen!! Very jealous!

Class pic of Oscar Bex glad he's loving his food! How many weeks is he now?.. Wondering when I should try finger foods :)

My cousins little boy choked on a grape and my mam had squeeze it out of him with that thrust move thing :| I don't trust grapes!

Kaedin he should be explaining where the scratch has come from, it sounds like it could be off someone's ring? I catch Stanley sometimes by mistake :|

Jen I hope you have a lovely holiday!! Half Scarlett is rolling over lots

I've decided to bath Stanley every other day cos his skin is getting too try and don't want him to and up with eczema if I can help it, it's been quite nice here so been out in the camper and went for fish and chips!

was supposed to write a letter to work ahead of my meeting on tuesday about flexi working but totally forgot tomorrow is a bank hol! emailed it (they said i could) and im putting a hard copy through the door tomorrow.... that should be ok, right??

If he told me he accidentally scratched her when changing her bum or just holding her ect It would be ok, but it's the fact he has no explanation. He's saying he didn't know it existed until I asked, so that makes me thing either he is not takign care of her at all to be oblivious to a massive scratch, or someone else is dealing with her the whole time - who have harmed her yet he doesn't pay attention to realise. That worries me. I've scratched hayley before by accident, hayleys scratched herself a good few times, but I always know the cause of any marks on her body.

Hmm I really don't know jojo, i've not had to do that. I guess it would be fine if your meeting isn't first thing, then they get time to read it ? It's still before their deadline so if they say no, i'd fight it lol Otherwise they'd need to say sent it by X date and your meeting is X+a few days

Well it was sent before the meeting so I wouldn't worry about it :)

Stace I think he's 24 weeks?

I've only just started him on finger foods this week

Ladies this might sound like an odd question but what sort of play do you do with babas? Ruri seems just happy lying playing with his wee gym but I just feel he's not getting enough stimulation! We are normally out every day but on the days we aren't out and about I feel like I'm just not doing enough with him :/

They said to be sent prior to meeting... It's 11am

I've had to do meeting with people before about flexi working. If I don't have a few days notice in what they want I normally say at the meeting I'll look into it and get back to them as you can't really judge the effect and whether it's possible without seeing others work patterns.

Maybe they'll do that and write a reply if they can't tell you straight off the bat

Ruri I'm out most days too usually visiting my mam or his mam etc so he's always been fussed over played with etc when out, my mam has bought toys and stuff for him for her house but I always make sure to have a rattle or a teether in his bag

At home if I'm not busy doing house work etc I will play with him on the floor I bought them spongy floor tiles for kids that piece together, I have one of those tummy time cushions, and lots of toys and we sit and have a play, if not he's in his walker or his jumperoo.. He's 21 weeks today though not sure how old your LO is but when he was a bit younger he was quite content in his bouncer playing he likes a lot more stimulation as the weeks go on x

Ruri is 20 weeks today :) yep same as my mums, she's got heaps of stuff at hers and I think my house just seems so bland!

He likes his jumperoo, he gets pretty annoyed in his chair. I've got a crinkly playmat that he lies on and a wee play gym and then toys around him. The wee rascal seems more entertained by the TV sometimes :| I just feels like I should be doing more with him but tbh he can't do very much just now lol!! I think I'll get a tummy time pillow, I've seen the M&P one in tesco a few times

Sorry I called you Ruri didn't i!
Yeh that's the one we have, don't worry sounds like your doing great from what you've said he seems content enough! Stanley likes to watch tv now and then too :D

We play together on the floor, with toys, playing peekaboo, blowing raspberries, doing yoga stretches or massage; read books; sing nursery rhymes and do actions; practice sitting, tummy time & standing. She also sits up at the table during meals now, plays by herself on the floor, sits in her rocker with a toy and plays on her gym. She also enjoys being carried around the garden and watching our wind chimes.

She likes to be busy and we try to get out most days so she (and I) don't get cabin fever (very small house so we're pretty much in one room all day save for naps and nappy changes).
