How are all you new mummies doing?

It's a horrible subject and I think Jim actively tries to avoid talking about it sometimes :/ I haven't approached the subject with my parents as I'm of the same thinking as you - I'm trying to be practical. My sisters partner is my partners cousin so I know if she were to be Ruri's guardian then he'd always have contact with both our families? I think there's just something quite sad about making these things final?

On a lighter note I've discovered sudocrem as my new saviour for spots!

I've always had pretty good skin but since Ruri my chin is like a pizza. My friend who suffered awful acne said it was the only thing that worked for her and voila, clear chin! I look very sexy climbing into my bed with a bright white face ha!

So I get to town to do some shopping for his birthday- and our friends new addition... Go to get my credit card out and BAM!! It's not there! He used it for chiropractor and didn't put it back as I asked!!

So anyway I leave without what I was at the till for as it's about 100 quids worth and didn't want it coming out our current account with our mortgage advisor app on Wednesday etc

Anyway- call him on way back to car amazingly pissed off

Drive out of town home - ' I can't find my wallet'

I last had it in Ian's car when we got the Chinese Saturday- IAn is his friend who's just had a baby at 5am!

Anyway so he calls him and he answers in post natal- flys out to car and it's in there - so now I've had to bring him to his docs app as he hasn't got any fuel or his card to pay for any- then got to drive upto the hospital and meet him to get his wallet - to drive him all the way home and then back into town!

I could actually murder him GRRRR

It's funny you mention birthdays annex, it's my hubby's birthday today - he's 36! So I made a huge cake for him and we're going out tomorrow night. (And there's bee soon boom boom
Pow when Luke is asleep tonight lol) were off to town to get him a suit for his sisters wedding (which I'm not attending ) and maybe a cheeky maccyD's.

Luke had Caribbean pork casserole today and loved it but I think it tastes like hose cheap sausage on bakes beans tin you gy lol

I go to church eveubsunday and I'm actively involved so we got Luke christened and his guardians of anything happened to is would be my brother and his partner. They're lovely people and we share the same core values, plus Bex is 9 years younger than me so I would feel like Luke would have people of a nice age to look after him. It's awful but I wouldn't want anyone from hubby's family to guardian them - they have such a different mindset and they're not big family people whereas I'm a big family person. I think my brothers partner is quite close in personality to me too.

I think finding a guardian is about finding someone as much like yourself as you can who would be responsible enough.

My sister and her oh are my sons god parents, and they would get all our kids if anything should happen to us. even though a friend and her husband are Maddie's, and no idea who we will ask for Emma. I want to ask a friend and her husband. I've only known them about 4 years. But they are quite involved in our lives and have known About Emma from the day I found out I was pregnant. my other choices are my younger sister and her oh who I don't know. Or my older brother and his wife. But I don't like her, and I doubt they would even know by of my kids full names or ages. Decisions decisions.

Just about to take all the kids swimming. Think I'll be swinging by the wine aisle at sainsburys on the way back! Especially as Chris has been signed off work till weds too!

Got to town - Oscar screamed and cried - got as far as mothercare ( 100 yards from car park) and came home

Attempting it tomorrow!

We've asked ajs best friend to be god father - will be asking my best friend and her husband who we are close tomorrow- I havnt asked family because I like to think regardless if anything happened to me family will always be there

That's why we've asked our nearest and dearest friends

What a day for you Bex - id kill him!!

I'm turning frugle in my old age. Took back all the 3-6 that S hadn't worn and probably wasn't going to on holiday and got all this for free in 6-9 months

Shopping day for all! I've had one grumpy baby this afternoon. She's so tired but has been fighting it since 3. Seriously thinking about bathing her now rather than later and just putting her to bed!

I've loads of people's presents n a few for Harry for Xmas already!! Harry is in bed already Jen he was so grumpy after hardly any naps today so bathed bottled n bed by 6!!!

Ok someone has replaced my child! She didn't have a proper afternoon nap so nothing I was doing was making her happy. She's bathed and bed already so in for an early morning probs I need to start giving her a more structured afternoon nap. Any tips? She just won't seem to settle in her cot in the day but is quite happy to be put down awake or alseep at night and morning nap!

Aw nightmare! What time would he normally sleep til then michelle? She's had all her milk she normally has for the day so hopefully that'll be her til the morning at least.

Emma hasn't worn heaps of her 3-6 month stuff. Once the kids are back to school. I'm going to have to have a good clear out.

We went into town today. Got Luke two pairs of jeans (£4 each) 2 long sleeved tshirts (£2.50) a dinosaur tshirt (£2) 6 pairs of socks (£1) and a long sleeved Xmas tshirt in the sale for (£1) from primark

Then I was in the charity shop looking for used books to read and I saw a timberland waterproof jacket with the tag still on for £3.50! So I snapped that up!

Having yet another stressful day Told my ex he can spend time with Hayley on Wednesday from 4pm until 7pm (that way i can bathe, feed and get her ready for bed so she's still in her routine and not all unsettled) He replied with "I don't accept that bullshit offer of 3 hours...I'll pick her up at 12 and drop her off at 10am Thursday".

Told him again, he can have 3 hours, my solicitor has even said this is more than reasonable..he replied "Yeh the person you pay money to for advise agrees with you. That is their advice and its shit, its not a court order or has any legal weight whatsover...Get a grip of yourself, this is gonna crash down on you. So I will say again...Pick hayley up at 12 and drop off at 10am Thursday".

I've not responded, I'm going to phone my solicitor tomorrow. Not sure if I should just tell him no and refuse him contact. I think that's what im going to have to do though, wish he would just realise it's hayleys best interests, not him trying to pretend he's number 1 daddy, which he clearly isn't. SO stressed out, been feeling crap all day just because of him.

I also went out shopping today. Bought hayley her first swimming costume - so will go some point this week i think
