How are all you new mummies doing?

Ark wants to see guardians of the galaxy on 3D - not my thing it it's a night out. It was between inbetweenera and that but this is 3D so it won lol

Luke has had just had stage 2 mango and apples suggested by the hv - she said to start introducing textures to him so the organix pots are great - he spat out some of the bigger bits but otherwise ate it well :)

I went to supermarket to see what there was a bit chunkier. But it all says 7 months +. Is that what stage 2 is?

Well that's what this stage 2 is.. It's actually not too chunky, it's just not smooth and has a few soft chunks in

My hv said that because ha been weaned early I can introduce stage 2 a little earlier - but she watches him eat and things.

Emma tries to drink her food cause it's thinner than her milk. Thing is, if I did it home made there's no way it would be as smooth as the pouches.

Think I'll finish this lot off then move on. She's 6 months on the 17th.

I made
My food as smooth as he pouches by putting it through a sieve. I usually mix my home made stuff with half a pouch to get a nice mix. I've been puréeing chixken and formula milk with a jar of mixed veg.

Hope you had fun pumpkin! Sounds like you have good nights in store kaedin and jojo. I'm well jell! Hubby is nights this weekend so it's just us :-( got all my sky pluses to catch up on.

Just got a text from my neighbour..... Perfect prep is at hers!!! Yay!!! I'm like a Bairn at Christmas :-)

Can't take it any more, just ordered a jumperoo for collection from Argos in 1 hr and 09 mins!

They have 3 for 2 on selected toys, so I've ordered the jumperoo, a fisher price bounce and spin zebra, and a fisher price ballapalooza ( giant play thing with balls that go down chutes). All for £131. Will put the ball thing and zebra away fro Xmas and bday. Do you reckon that's a good buy? Hate buying stuff them finding out its cheaper elsewhere once it's too late.

I reckon that is. My jumperoo (grow and discover as we had rainforest gym) was £70 from amazon cause of a damaged box.

All three big toys for £130 sounds good to me.

Still at sister in laws but great so far! Lots of food drink and laughs

I think it's a good bargain! I really want the bonce and spin zebra, seen it a few weeks ago in my local charity shop in the back yet to be sorted but it's never been there since. So I think someone bought it as soon as it went out.

I had a quick look at kiddicare, toysrus and amazon to see if it was any cheaper. It's not, but I'm feeling crap so not up to my usual investigations!lol

Glad you're having a good time Kathryn. No hangover?

Kaedin, keep an eye out. Don't think our babies will be ready for the zebra for a while yet, so you've got time to look.

That looks like fun! Yeah I think that's a good but, especially as your keeping it aside for pressies. Glad you had fun kathryn

Yeah I'll keep my eyes peeled, even look on Gumtree for some baby toys. Can get some great bargains, which is helpful as im skint. Wow Toria that looks great!! Don't think I have enough room for it but wish I did

Love my jumparoo wudnt b without it, all 3 of those for that price seems a bargain to me.

That's Hayley back home :D Missed her wee cheeky face, she's just having a wee nap now :) MY ex has actually been quite civil when he picked her up and dropped her off. Trying to find the best way to word my text telling him the arrangement as agreed with my solicitor..eek! Feel bad as he has been nice, but if he was like that from the start it really wouldn't be like this, I just need to remind myself he threw Hayley out of her bed and home at midnight - unforgivable. I'm sure he'll kick off once I tell him so im not looking forward to this, feel sick to my stomach with nerves :(

Don't be nervous - just think all this is for the benefit of Hayley and it's important she has structure and that you can 'manage' your ex and is his time with her :)

Had a lovely afternoon with friends! Then went and let balloons off for my friend- tried to find somewhere it eat at 6.30 with 12 adults and 5 kids- wasn't happening so my nice clean house got destroyed and everyone came back here and we ordered Chinese food! Then had drinks!

Now cooking a lamb roast ( hubby and MIL fav meat ) for us. Will give Oscar some veg and for pudding I've got us apple crumble ( weathers horrid because of this hurricane thing) and for Oscar I've been naughty and got one of those little tins of Heinz choco pudding! I know it contains milk but he's doing well on weaning so thought he could have a little treat!

He's rolling front to back and back to front now!! Crazy!!!

Dunno about the others toria but check kiddicare if there's one near you. The jumperoo will be 25% off I think from memory? Worth a look before you pick them up from argos. Sales are only instore

Look Facebook selling pages for jumperoos! I got mine in fantastic condition for £55, there's always loads on there! X

What size dummies do you ladies use? I've just realised all Hayleys dummies are the 0-3 month ones so not sure if I should get rid of them and buy 3-9 month ones? Hadn't really thought about it until now so don't know if it would harm her teeth when coming through if using the wrong size dummy ?

I'm using MAM ones which are 0+

Then they go to 6+ I think? Something I had not even thought about though so than an for the reminder! Will swing by mothercare I think next week! X
