How are all you new mummies doing?

I've already contact Child Maintenance (CSA don't deal with it now apparently) so they'll send us both a letter soon saying how much they think he should pay towards Hayley and then if he doesn't I can contact them and they'll give him additional fines ect. He really is a prick, it makes my blood boil as we planned to have a child. If he had no intention of being a real dad why did he do all this.

Kaedin if it goes through courts there's no way they would grant that much access at that age, when Chris son was a baby he got one day overnight at the weekend and a few hours one day through the week, it's only now that his son is able to say what he wants that Chris was given loads more contact, deffo get some advice off a solicitor.

Bex maybe Oscar just loves his mummy cuddles so much bless him, hope he gives you a break soon glad the wedding was fun, it's nice having that time with OH again isn't it..

My cleaning usually happens on a morning as soon as me and Stanley get up and he's had a bottle I just put him in his bumbo or bouncer and let him watch me or do it holding him! I actually do the hoovering a lot of the time holding him if he gets sick of bumbo etc! Once he's in bed I just chill unless there's ironing to do.

He's gone to sleep now .. Inlet him cry for 15 minutes... I know not sounds cruel but there was nothing else to do! Then rocked him for a while and he's asleep now - hopefully for the night! I'd he does wake I might try to give him an extra bottle because he threw some up.

I've been stressed all day too! My friends birthday and she went to Alton rowers and I wasn't invited probably because she knew I couldn't go and didn't want me to feel bad but I feel kinda left out and I always feel atressed whenum is stressed and now tomorrow I have to steam. Clan my carpet!

Thanks Stacey, that's reassuring! I've never been through anything like this, neither have anyone close to me. I've offered him overnight at the weekend and a few hours after work at some point during the week, so makes me slightly less anxious to know that what your OH got. At least when Hayley is older she can let me know if he isn't taking care of her properly, and can tell me if she wants to go away more or less often.

I understand that for a father that wants to be there 1 night and a few hours isn't enough, but he hasn't made any effort in 4 months so can't expect everything now just to create a war with me.

Oh trust me so many times I've wanted to just tell him to piss off, he's not having her and pretend not to be home if he comes to my parents. But then I know i'll start to be an arse like him and he can use it against me. At least this way, I've been very civil and trying to ensure we had some communication for Hayleys sake in the years to come!

Yeah I'm alright - I had mild irritable bowel when I was at Uni, so think it's abit of that.

Poop central today, 1 little poop and then 2 massive ones (and brown!)

Think inviting people to coffee the other day seemed to work, we've been invited to lunch on Thursday now

I'm having a mammoth of a battle withrh someone trying to tell me that breastfeedingn on public is wrong! He says women should be respectful and fees their children on the bathroom or on the car!! He's likening getting a book out to feed to whopping out your penis to take a piss!

He's calling ME entitled!! And saying I have no respect because I agree wih it- he assumes I breastfeedingn and it helpsy case not to admit I don't.

He has just turned 8 and the order was changed only in April this year! He went through courts when his son was less than a year old and that was the first court order. Chris took her back to court for Breaking the order not allowing access etc in December last year and it took 4 months to go through.

It won't go through a judge to begin with they will try and use a mediator from the court who will sit with the pair of you to see if you's can come up with some official contact arrangements, if you's can't agree on something then it will go to the judge and the judge will then decide who gets what contact and for how long. X

Regardless of whether you breastfeed or not Jojo that is disgraceful. Kaedin you ex is being a prat. I hope everyone is ok. We have spent the day trying to get our garden done and entertain Joseph (who decided he wasn't going to bed until 21.15 instead of his usual 20.00. x

He'd have hated the park we were at today JoJo. I sat and breastfed my daughter on a bench and spotted two other mums feeding theirs at the same time. At no point were any boobs on display, but we know what we're looking for. I doubt anyone else even noticed. I always wonder when people get so outraged about breastfeeding whether they've ever actually seen anyone doing it!
