Greyson's Journey

Ah he's so cute!!

Its a shocker when the bad nights come, we've had 5 bad ones in the 22 Jess has been here, but it is hard in the early days when there are lots of visitors.
Most nights though I get more sleep than I did at the end of pregnancy

Got weighed again yesterday, so in ten days my little chubster has gained 9oz :) hes now 8lb 15oz :)

Good job Greyson!!
And Mummy....

Are you enjoying lying on your front again? I'm also specially enjoying going half a day without peeing and putting on socks :)

Fliss one of the first things I did when I gave birth was touch my toes!

Greyson and I are doing well, I dread night time though, feeding and sleep patterns are so unpredictable

Love that little skeleton sleepsuit Pippa! Greyson is a serious little cute fella. Hope you haven't had too many nasty nights. They really are a killer! Fingers crossed for a good night tonight for you (and rather selfishly, me too!!) xxx

Well we bith went down around 1030 and he only jusy got me up at 0140 so ive had a few hours. Just put him back down but I imagine he'll be back up in a couple of minutes, its rare his feeds are less than 90mins!

Best of luck dotty, hope you have a much better night!

I remember the first few weeks are a nightmare for sleep patterns pip! You just how no idea how its going to go! But all of a sudden they rwalise that sleep is goooood!

Rosie's still has never slept through but now it's only 1 night feed and she's rarely up before 9am so I feel normal! Can't imagine going back to the newborn stage now!

How's your OH son taken to being a big bro?? Xx

He's really not interested but then, I never expected him to be. He's 8 years old, he's more interested in xbox and riding his bike. He's commented on baby being cute and stroked his head a few times before finding his xbox controller, which is good enough for me!

Went to work today on the train with Greyson. It was lovely to get out and about and see my work mates but it was knackering and did make me really miss work!

On the bright side I managed to get a nap today from 0630-0845, on a less bright side ive only just managed to get him back to sleep. Hes taken to sleeping on his side, it seems to be the only way to get gim off without all the grunting/fidgeting. He cant roll on to his tummy because I make sure his arm is out but I cant help thinking im doing something wrong (but when dont we?!)

Jess is always on her side, Pippa. I feel happier with her on her side too as she pukes quite a bit and I still can't quite believe its ok for them to puke lying on their back!

I went to work on Monday for a meeting, I miss work too! I'll def be ready by 6 months to go back.

Love the picture! Brave Greyson! Wonder what his Xmas wish is this year? A bottomless boob maybe!?! Hope your doing good Pippa and ready for a very special Xmas! Xxx

Ps. Same goes to you Fliss! Nice to see you here! Xxx

Glad you enjoyed getting out to see your work mates. It must have been weird going to work and not actually going to work. How was it? So many people looking forward to going back to work! I'm dreading it! I doubt anyone has noticed I'm not even there to be honest! ;) xxx

Aww bless him with FC! I took my lo into work when she was 11 days old and I ended up doing group time and reading the stories to the children whilst the nursery staff working had cuddles lol x I'm in no hurry to go back properly though even if a couple of my key children told me how much they missed me which was sweet! X

We're getting on great. He had a grumpy night last but I think its because he wolfed down a bottle of formula when we were out which hes not used to. A bit windy I think. Seems fine after a sleep, a bath and a few good trumps!
