From miscarriages to miracle - James Michael. Our sticky bean born on Daddy's B'day

I hope Jackson fares better on the new milk hun, it's so hard to know what to do for the best.

I have loads of pics but the files are too big to upload here.

I took a few today on the lowest resolution.

This is Mummy being mean to him

I just found a few Birthday cards for my OH. My Mum must have to given them to me just before I had James and of course with all that happened they slipped my mind and ended up in a drawer and I put a load of crap on top of them!

He is just a wee smasher!

Jackson always does that amazed face when I kiss his lips lol, starting to get a lot more social smiles these days. I hope this milk helps, if not I'll try hipp, if not its the doctors. I can't tell now if he has reflux or collic?

Mrswoody- that's a shame I felt ages away being a 20 mins drive from fam when we lived in ur last house! Thankfully my mums round the corner literally. No one else has had him yet despite offers lol!

Gorgeous photos hon! :) Love the one in the snow suit :) And well done James for sitting up on his own and holding his head up - Harry can't do that yet! xxx

Sweet hunny, those are beautiful piks, we're in the same boat with work, but round here the average price is £30-£40 per day and my after tax income is approx £40 a day (even though I am level 3 qualified admin, but it's about average for where we live) I'm lucky in that my mom has been hands on with Jacob and my nephews and wants to help one day a week, so hoping Childcare for 2 days as I only want to go back part time, but it'll work out I'm literally earning £40 a week for 3 days work! :-(

Us mummies get a rough deal hey?

We may have to consider OH staying home for a few months in the early days, so we can get a bit of cash behind us (I earn slightly more but mine is a monthly salary whereas OH is paid when when each job is finished. The thinking is I go back and we save as much as possible then I either go part-time or look for something else)

Anyhoo, we went to be weighed yesterday and James is now 12lbs 5oz so back on the 25th centile and they don't need to see us for another few weeks.

He still has a little oral thrush, HV said it is quite common to have trouble shifting it so we'll have to see GP and try something else. He also still has some cradle cap.. Other than that he is lovely and healthy though.

Next lot of jabs on Tuesday afternoon!

Awwww hun, hope the oral thrush sorts out soon! Sounds like James is doing really well, Jacob's only 14lbs now lol. Good luck with James' next jabs on Tuesday x x

He seems to be growing just lovely, good that they don't need to see you guys for a bit.

We are due the jabs soon, how was James after his first set?

Jackson had a thrush nappy rash the HV didn't tell me it was thrush and I kept persisting with the sudocrem and I took him to the docs the other day for reflux and she had pointed it out and we have an ointment that's cleared it right up (I know James can't have ointment in his mouth though lol :p)

Hope your doing well and getting some good resting time in! I read your other post get the oh sorted and let him try putting James down instead of plunking his but infrint of the tv lol! Xxxxx

That's great James is back on track weight wise and apart from a couple of minor ailments he's doing really well :) Tell me about that thrush being difficult to shift by the way. Don't my boobs know it! Harry's cradle cap is doing better - think all that brushing may have helped (will miss it lol!). Good luck with the jabs on Tues - Harry was a little grouchy after but nothing terrible... xxx

Hey carnat :) just catching up after not being in for a while :) James is catching Evie up slowly she is just 13lb 3oz :) 19 weeks old already! She has been very sick and has a milk intolerance and reflux and is now on neocate after 4 other milks! James seems so much more sturdy as well sitting in his little bumbo bless him! We have 1 that colour! not got it out yet! Evie seems so much more like a baby still, love the pics u put on he is so cute! Xxx

Ahh good luck James :) be a big brave boy, and nat, you be a brave mummy lol xxxx

All sorted and we have some new medication for the last if the oral thrush.

He screamed a little but fell asleep immediately. He's actually been surprisingly smiley this evening considering!

xxxxxxxxx

Glad James (and you!) survived the dreaded jabs! Hope the new meds help James get rid of the thrush for good xxx

I can't quite believe that it was exactly a year ago today that I got my + OPK [and smiley face on a digi] that went on to give us our baby James

He is now a lively, smiley, beautiful 3 month old that I cannot imagine being without. I miss him at night and am always excited to get up in the morning to see my little chatterbox!

It's not been easy, those first few weeks were like walking through treacle and James has his moments BUT we've been so lucky to be blessed with this little creature.

I love him so much.. :)

xxxxxxxx

Happy conceived date james and mummy!!!!

Xxxxxxz

Thanks lovely!!

He still won't smile for the camera, this is the closest I could get to a smile

He will be laughing his little head off and the moment the camera or phone comes out he puts on his serious face!!

xxxxxxx

Is it weird that I think of valentines day as "the day james was conceived"

Happy anniversary of that occasion my lovely xx

Please excuse any typos from my fat fingers!
