I took James to his first baby group today. It was a sing along group!
I went with my friend and her 3 year old and 15 month old.
James was by far the youngest there (it was mainly toddlers, James was the only non walking baby) but he loved it. I thought he would as he really enjoyed all the singing in church when we went to a christening recently.
He was boggle eyed and very alert and watched the entertainer guy the whole time.
I think next week we'll go to a more low key (and free!!) sing along thing but this was nice for a treat.
Afterwards I had a coffee and fed James in the park, it's not sunny today but still warm.
James has changed so much in the past few days, he doesn't fall straight asleep in his pram anymore [that was a sure thing] he likes to have a nosy.. He is also showing signs of teething and is fascinated with watching us eat. These are all such little things but when you are a Mummy they are they highlight of your day / week. He is so reactive to me now, I actually know how to make him laugh and it makes me burst with pride... I can also comfort him and he likes to nap on me in the afternoon.
James is also now so long - 67cm and already filling his 3-6 month clothes. He is so slender though as he only weighs just over 13lbs.
He is currently sleeping so I am having a cuppa and going to watch a few episodes of "Two and a half men" - my current new fave TV programme!
