From miscarriages to miracle - James Michael. Our sticky bean born on Daddy's B'day

Happy 3 months to James! Love the new photo what a cutie. Babies must know when the camera is out,m will be smiling and laughing away but as soon as the camera is out that's it poker face is out! Tut tut x

A few recent piccies (still not smiley pics - this kid does not play ball!! Shame as he is such a smiley boy until you get the camera out!)

We're entering a fussy period (pre-leap) but James is still such a good boy. He has had a few "bad" days when he has been whingey, clingy and hard to entertain but that has just bought home to us what a good baby he is actually is..

He sleeps through and has done for about 6 weeks now! He eats really well, he is following his line perfectly. He is now in his 3-6 month clothes, he smiles and laugh and chatters. He recognises the cat [she is going to get it when he can move about ], he adores his Daddy, he loves his baths.

I am so excited for spring and summer. We are going to go to all the galleries and museums, we are going to go to all the big parks, we are going to go for walks along the Thames!!

Life is good at the moment. Minus a few blips (OH work situation isn't great but he should be starting a new job soon) baby-wise though we couldn't be happier!!

So glad everything is so good for you hon :) Your plans for the summer sound lovely! I'm sure you'll get a smile on camera soon - have you tried getting OH to take pic while you play with James? I find Harry just stares at the camera as he can't see our faces smiling behind it xxxxxxxxx

We've tried everything to get a smile on camera! This child is far too wily

How great he sleeps through, I can't wait for those nights.

Sounds like a busy summer for you.

Xx

Glad your all happy and James is doing so well!

Sometimes it just takes one good day out of a couple bad to make you think, he's really not a bad baby atall LOL xxxx

I think it's more because his bad days are so few and far between??? He is such a good boy it is really noticeable when he has an off day

I was sure we were starting the fussy period for the next leap but now I'm not sure!

I think Jackson was headed for a leap, I had him settled with a feeding routine and all of a sudden he started wanting his feeds every 3 hours instead of 4 and being really crabbit this lasted a few days now he seems fine again.

Another moment of motherhood that makes me melt is when your so tired and thinking come on just sleep and they are crying and crying then out of no where you get a wee smile. And u just kind of remember why u enjoy being a mummy.

I never thought motherhood would be so rewarding, knackering yes. But if Jackson has a good day I tend to have a good day too and enjoy it much more.

Have you taken James swimming yet ?

James just rolled for the first time! Front to back.... He didn't seem to know what he'd done ha ha....

I am so surprised as we barely do tummy time (he hates it)

I tried to get him to do it again but he wouldn't play ball

Well done James!:pompom:

I remember when Aaron first done it I couldn't get him to do it again and I was convinced I had imagined it

About a week later he did it again

OH missed it, but I def saw him do it.

James has been an angel again recently. We 'read' a few books earlier and he was so amused...

I thought he was having his pre leap fussy period but he's sweetness and light again at the moment.

I just wish he'd sleep a bit better - he is so fitful it keeps me awake and he is often up by 6am!

Well done little James for rolling over! :) We're having sleep issues too atm - he wakes up and won't go back to sleep unless we're holding him! Absolutely knackered :( Hope our Lo's grow out of this phase soon....xxx

How lovely! He'll start doing it all the time soon.

That's an early start! Won't he go back to sleep?

Xx
