You literally can find out how to do everything online these days, I said to OH it is a good thing obviously, but it will get to stage we don't need to know how to do anything or know any answers. All people say these days is YouTube it or google it hahaha.

When I was thinking of getting a tummy tub I had a look at how to bath baby in one online. YouTube is great. Xxxx

I haven't tried to figure it out yet, will do it after next feed when he is relaxed and chilled.

I don't think it's over complicated, I just think I have a mental block when it comes to slings

James is on the sofa with Daddy

He does love to be hugged and his Granny (and lots of other people) have spoilt him rotten since birth so I have to cuddle him to sleep. He will nap of his own accord though but that will only be for 20-30 mins.

It took weeks and weeks for any kind of routine to develop and even now it's a bit hit and miss with James.

It's great when daddies take over isn't it so you can have your arms back lol! Harry is on the sofa with daddy too atm Harry will settle himself with a dummy in occasionally, but most of the time he has to be held to sleep. Not looking forward to the time when we have to try and make him sleep on his own :/ Oh well, we'll give it a few more weeks at least... xxx

They sometimes grow eventually out of cuddling to sleep. When Amelie got 8 weeks old she started having a shit fit I you were trying to cuddle her to sleep... The. She went though a phase where she would be rocked only in her car seat or carry cot and now he settle in the Moses basket during the day with te seahorse and on a swing after the late night feed...I wonder what's next lol...

We're off to a party this afternoon (friends little boy is 1) and then home for PJ's, Christmas music and hopefully a nice festive film. I've got a lovely chicken pie for dinner - I can't wait until it gets dark.
