From miscarriages to miracle - James Michael. Our sticky bean born on Daddy's B'day

What does he weigh now Nat? I trying to make sure Harry wears all his clothes he's had loads for Christmas but the little fatty is already not fitting some. He was 7 lb1 at his last weigh in but I think he's at least 8 pounds now xxx

James was 9lbs 3oz at last weigh-in but that was 14th December. I reckon he'll be at the least another lb heavier when we go for his next weigh-in (on 4th Jan!) if not more.

All he does is eat, he has at least 30oz's a day

I was just thinking back to this time last year...

Period was due on 2nd Jan but I took a test on NYE 'just in-case' and was heartbroken to get a BFN.

I felt so sure it would never happen for us, we were just a month past our 3rd miscarriage of 2011 and it felt so hopeless. I remember sobbing just before we were getting ready to go out and thinking we may as well give up.

Fast forward a year and my God how life has changed.

I am so thankful for our little baby, he is truly a blessing.

There'll be tears at Midnight (I find the ringing in of a new year very emotional ) but this year they'll be happy tears and tears of love for my two wonderful boys.

Happy New Year to all the lovely ladies on here, I've made some wonderful friends and wish you all lots of love for 2013

I was doing the same today. This time last year I took a test an got a bfn ... Even tho we had only been trying 2 months I figured it would never happen. I went out and got stupidly drunk ... Turned out it was my last drink for a long time

Awww Nat can't believe how much he changes everytime I see him, I like you was thinking back to this time last year, it was NYE I got my BFP and I was convinced I'd be trying again by march, look at us both now, both blessed with little miracles 2012 was definatly our year and we deserved it so much. Well I have just had little fatty weighed and he is now 10lb 4oz!!

He is still in the 25th centile, and they are very happy with his progress.

Phew, I thought he was going to have put on masses of weight but he is doing perfectly.
