Finally feeling movements!!

Came over all hot again and the smell of the dinner make me feel sick so couldn't eat it.. Was really looking forward to it :(

Mw said I looked pale.. Checked temp bp and pulse.. I've got a temp, bp is normal (but was low earlier) and my pulse is racing again :roll: so having some paracetamol to take temp down.. Will check on me in half hr..
Contractions further apart but strong still... Earlier when I moved about try stopped for a short while and got milder.. This time just thrown them off course I think... When I lay down it eases off a tad but sitting up on edge of bed makes then stronger..

Sigh... Lol!!
 
Don't want the paracetamol to take away the pain of the contractions I want to feel it all so I know where I'm at lol!! Mw more concerned with my temp than the frequency and length of contractions..
U lot must be so sick of hearing all this lmao!!

I'm not sick of hearing it chick, im really interested to find out what is up with you! I'm baffled.

Next time someone checks you & asks how u are could you not just ask - could you tell me if you think i'm in labour as I have things to sort out at home & my OH needs to take time off work ect, i'd be pushing for answers, its not fair that u need to sit there worrying about it all.

Maybe baby is closer to coming when you sit?? They say thats the natural position for them to come out, maybe more pain means closer to labour??

:hug: Ive been keeping up with this from the beginning and you are being amazing going through all this. No ones getting sick of the updates. I for one keep looking for this tread to pop back up because it means your checking back in. Keep going and hopefully everything will either calm down so you can go home Monday and your LO gests active again or maybe your LO will make an appearance soon for you.

Im sure checking in is probably keeping you in a better spirits because its giving you something to do so just keep typing away! Good luck!

They can't tell if I'm in labour yet.. Nothing was going on with my cervix earlier when I was checked.. She's more concerned about my temp.. Not sure how high it was I didnt ask or see.. Shouldve done really!
I don't like making a fuss etc so try not to bother them unless it's urgent.. Ergh gaviscon pink crap is disgusting!!!!

U r doing do well Hun and I'm not sick of the updates like knowing how your doing !! The temp could b a sign of the uti. Bh don't normally hurt do u could c in early labour especially as they don't go if u change position. Don't blame u for just wanting it over now I feel the same and I'm not going through what u r !! Enjoy time with oh and I'll check in after 9 xxxx

Keep the updates coming its keeping me from worrying about you knowing your checking in so often!!!! your being so brave I just hope you either get some answers or get your little one!! Keep your chin up hon :hug:
 
Well been monitored again... Contraction numbers went up to 73... And still frequent.. Evenly spaced etc.. (I'll post a pic) so they just examined me and cervix is closed.. Kinda disappointed all this pain for nothing?? My back is killing :( she offered me codeine for the pain... No thanks it made my migraines 100x worse!!! So I declined... Then she offered me sleeping pills but I said no coz I dont even like taking paracetamol for headaches... Yes I'd rather be in pain lol!! Plus I can keep an eye on things not wake up n they ask if I had any pains n I'm like.. Duno I was asleep!!... Plus the steroid injection made me very sleepy and high temp so I don't really want to be out of it on sleeping pills when they give it to me!!

Noone has actually told me it's engaged or anything... It was by chance I read it on the graph... I wanna read my notes I'm nosy lol!!! She felt baby before offering me the druuuugs... When I want druuuuugs I'll be sure to let you know love lol!!!

It was lovely to spend more time with him :) He left at 9.. Not allowed longer :( couldn't even say bye properly coz I was hooked up to the monitor :roll:
Yeah I've made a tea then gonna try n sleep coz I know that I won't sleep after my injection at 3am!! That's if I manage to get to sleep at all this time :(

They need to sort those curtains out behind the monitor!! Enough to send someone to hospital looking at them :p

I sure do!!!

LO is kicking me in the mo and it bloody hurts!!! Well not kicks some kind of weird head movement that feels like kicks!! Feels like it's gonna kick out of me... GO FOR IT BABY SHOW ME WHAT U GOT!!! lol!!

She said my cervix was shortening (as they know I was 37 at 20w) is that effacement? (yes ive been googling its hard not to!!!) Can u have that without dilating?? Can i be in real labour without dilating?? Whats going on??!! Why won't they tell me anything technical? Coz they know I'm having pain for nothing???? Coz they don't want to worry me????? Which one??!! I don't want to ask :cry:
