February testing thread 2019

11dpo and starting to get some pre-af cramps and boobs a little tender.. I’m sure it’s just af on the way.

Went to the fertility clinic yesterday for a consult with the doctor, she’s fairly sure I’ll get pregnant again she’s just got some concerns whether it will stick I’ve got to take Inofolic and double my folic acid do improve my egg quality whilst I have a few extra blood tests done. We will then start a course of chlomid to get me to ovulate more regularly. She said about doing intralipid infusions to suppress my immune system just a little bit if the blood tests don’t show a reason for the chemicals but I’m unsure, they haven’t been researched for fertility in any great detail and they are a very expensive extra..

Thanks guys. My husband lost his job yesterday too so now I pretty much just want to kill myself.* Feels like nothing good is happening in our lives at the moment and that my body can’t even do the one thing it’s designed to do.

Aw hun. Stop focusing on the negatives and focus on the positives. You have your loving husband who is there for you. You are happy together and that’s a lot more than a lot of people have! Hope he finds another job soon and I hope you’re feeling better about everything soon xx

Eh, I’ve started spotting already so it’s no more than a few days away. On the plus side, I definitely ovulated when I thought I did and now I feel a little like a psychic.

D managed to get his old job back (the retail one he had before the new place hired him) so that’s something, but we lost the company car and his weekends :..(

I am similar to you I never know when/if I ovulate. I can’t remember if you said you had PCOS?

My doctor has recommended Inofolic, it’s a little pricey and you need to take it for a minimum of 3 months but it dramatically increases ovulation in women with pcos and irregular cycles so might be worth a look?

I’ve ordered it so I can start taking this week in readiness for when we start chlomid.

Sock, I'm so sorry. I always know when I'm ovulating now as well and it really helps, so you have that in your favour going forward.

As for hubby, nothing to stop him looking around at other opportunities now that he has a bit of security back. You never know what is around the corner! Xxx

I have no idea how to upload photo's anymore with the forum changes but pretty sure ypu can put me down for a bfp.

I'm 9dpo and tge really faint lines I was getting on Sunday and yesterday are now actually, this evening, a prety decent thick pink line for a faint one. Showed Dan and he saw it from about 6ft away so although still a faint line, it's not hard to see and it came up in 2 minutes.

I only did an evening test as my boobs, specifically my nipples as in my first pregnancy, were killing me on my way home from a course earlier.

With my history of chemicals, early losses and mc's I'm not getting excited yet, but it is looking good that the lines keep getting darker!

Saw this on the long termers thread Iris but didn't want to post on there. Are they looking at your progesterone as well? That was lacking in me and the reason for my cp's. Luckily my body just figured it out one cycle but I was about to be put on progesterone to help.

I have thought about that, I used to get a lot of spotting in my luteal phase, one month I spotted from 1dpo right to af! But that seems to have sorted itself out in my past few cycles but I might mention progesterone to my dr next time I see her x

BFN for me this morning onto the next cycle... blithe cycle 9... this is taking longer than I thought it would

12dpo and bfn for me this morning and then got out of the shower and seems af is starting, I bit heavier that normal spotting so she seems to be coming early despite my positive opk I didn’t feel like I’d ovulated this month as I was cramp 3 days before the peak and 4 days after, I felt like I was trying but didn’t quite manage it.

Hopefully with my new medications I’m getting I start ovulating every month soon.
