Due in September

Sneaking in, slightly terrified.....

Hi girls, I’ve been stalking for a couple of days debating whether to join the group. But I’m going to positive and say I’ve got a BFP - EDD is 27 Sept.

Was on the forum a few years back, spent nearly 2 years in TTC with my son whose is now nearly 4. Fell pregnant again in 2019 after another long road TTC. Sadly had a MMC with that little one, found no heartbeat at 12 week scan in June despite seeing baby all good at 10 weeks. We were devastated. Baby should have been born on Christmas Day just passed.

So I’m very shocked to be pregnant again and absolutely terrified of suffering another MMC.

Massive congratulations to you all, everything crossed for plain sailing for us all x
Welcome and congratulations to you Jenny. I am so sorry you had to go through what you did. No1 should have to experience that. I hope this is your rainbow <3 xx

Hi ladies , looking for some advise I felt pregnant 4 days before period tested with a cheap test came back positive I have had previous ectopic and miscarriage and major bleed (twin loss) with my son now 7, so have to check ASAP that all is in the right place, so my hcg on Monday (would of been due on) was 797 , 48hrs later 1642 , another 48 hrs 3052 so all good and doubling had a scan Thursday and nothing in my tube small black circle seen in the right place but at 4w3d too early to see much else , I think with my hcg they thought I was further along, they seem high to me
For online averages (like double) so I am having another scan Next sat , but have read 30-50% higher than average hcg could be twins ,anyone had twins and known there hcg that early?

Never had hcg tested but if I did have high numbers it would cross my mind.
I've read few stories on net some people with higher hcg just were having one and then for some it did end with twins. Let's us know how ur scan goes.

Hi Jenny. Welcome and Congratulations on ur bfp. Due dates when uve lost a baby are very hard.
Like u I've had a mmc last yr too but I'm being really positive this time round. I freak out when I think my symptoms have gone but then they come back. I hate the first trimester.

Congratulations on your recent bfp @JennyS85 It’s heartbreaking what you went through.
I was also due on Christmas Day after an ivf bfp, although sadly lost my little bean much earlier than yours.

Wishing you a wonderful stress free pregnancy xx

Hi Jo, cant really offer any advice I'm afraid. Do you know what your hcg levels were like at the beginning of your previous twin pregnancy? I've heard they can be a fair but higher with twin pregnancies, but then I've already read about people having low and high hcg levels in single pregnancies (that go on to have healthy babies). Have the drs told you at what point they will be able to determine if it's a twin or single pregnancy?

hi Amy my levels were never tested this early with the other pregnancy I was scanned at 5w5d but it was missed then lost a twin at 10weeks , they haven’t said at what point I’ve read that they can be seen and also missed at 6 weeks but I recon will be latest 10w that they would know for definite x

Thanks Mel, I absolutely remember you from both being pregnant in 2015 and the December baby’s we lost. Amazing that you are here again at the same time, Congratulations xx

Morning ladies. Hi Jenny, so sorry to hear of your previous loss. Congratulations for you bfp now x

Had a proper emotional moment this morning. Got clawed by the cat and ended up as a sobbing, crying wreck in bed. I think DH was a little bit concerned for a bit. Damn hormones, tiredness and annoying animals.

Its ok though, in 2 hours time I get to go to a toddler dance class :-( (what has my life become)

Morning..
Ur allowed days like that. Def all down to the crazy hormones.
I'm so tired. I lost count amount of times I was up with the kids. Its really cold and its triggered my sons asthma and my daughter had high temp. So both are off today..

TTC, hope they feel better soon and your days not been too crazy.
I feel absolutely shattered, but oddly more energised when doing stuff. Tried to have a short nap when DD was sleeping, but she must have sensed it. She woke up straight away.

It's just ironic that we cant use coffee and wine to help us through this (wine it the evenings, of course ;))

Hi lovely to meet you all all I am currently 7 weeks to my 3rd bubba due 11/09/20, still early days so hoping all goes ok, lots of unusual aches and pains this time round, been 13 years since my last bubba was born so brain has forgot lots including what aches and pains are normal and obviously whats to be expected for an older mum as I’ll be 43 in June

Hi! At the moment the hospital are putting me at 7 weeks and due on 12th but I know form ovulation I’m more like 14th but good to have someone join that’s close. I’m 36 (37 in May) and this is baby number 4. Mine are all under 5 so it’s all fairly fresh in my mind still but this one has still had lots of different aches and pains. I think it just varies each time!

TTC I am permanently exhausted too, been trying to go to bed earlier and am napping with my youngest most days. The nausea is awful too. Still haven’t actually been sick but I am nauseous all day from waking until about 11pm. So much for ‘morning’ sickness.

Evening ladies!
I still have the fear of this one not sticking but I have loads of symptoms so hopefully everything is fine. My back ache is constant being the main thing. But I’ve had some shooting pains in my boobs and yesterday had more cramping. Been very tired and keep falling asleep all over the place

how are you all?
Hya I have the same constant lower back pain and my boobs

The cramps got me concerned but I feel slightly less worried now ty x

Hi Lorraine. Congratulations on ur pregnancy this will hopefully be baby number 3 for us. I will be 35 when baby is born. This time around I feel like I'm eating more and feeling more nauseous. Odd niggles for me. Especially at the beginning. Had some cramps and few sharp pains low down. But it went pretty quickly.

This eve I got so nauseous. Had some homemade veg soup with potatoes and it was so good. But still not satisfied. Lol
Was hoping I'd get my letter for dating scan but nothing yet.

Shattered all day yesterday, and then awake from 0330 this morning. And I have to go to work today. Great. :gun:

Morning ladies
How are you all?
Symptoms have well and truly hit me this week. I went home from work early yesterday as had the worse headache. I came home and slept for a few hours.
This morning i come over lightheaded and dizzy on the train to the point where sweat was dripping from me, a really kind man gave me his seat and stayed with me asking if i was ok bless him.
I decided to come back home as i still had to get on another train that is one of the worse trains for being busy. So now im sat on the sofa with my blanket and laptop. My happy place :) x

I’m with everyone who has to eat constantly to keep the nausea at bay. I’m already huge from eating so much. It’s just a constant need to try and keep the nausea at bay and nothing seems to be quite what I want. This week I’m quite into fruit smoothie juice but it still doesn’t seem to be quite the thing. In all my previous pregnancies bacon sandwiches was my thing at this point and now I’ve started thinking about them I want one. Except now I don’t eat a lot of meat at all and don’t really want to start an obsession with bacon sandwiches again :rotfl:
