***December babies! Tri 2 :) ***

Congrats everyone on the gender scans everyone! I'm not finding out as it was definitely the best part of labour with my daughter, I loved the surprise! My OH really wants a boy, but I feel exactly the same as I did with my daughter so have convinced myself it's another girl x

Congratulations on team pink LuLu and fingers crossed CLL that yours is correct!

My 20weeks scan is still a few weeks away too, if you ever feel like you've got ages to wait jut think of me being due on the 31st lol!!

MrsS yes I have a boy already so we will have one of each which is proving expensive as no hand me downs!

Baby will be getting DS's furniture so we were shopping for a big bed for him tonight. What a nightmare trying to decide what's best. We want something to last but that means £££ on top of the bigger car we need too!x

Congrats Lulu and everyone else on their gender scans.

It's all so exciting x

Amy glad I'm not the only one staying team yellow. All these ladies finding out are making me want to know!! My pregnancy is the utter opposite from my sons, it couldn't be any more different but I'm still sure I'm having boy number 2  I'm more than happy with another little boy but people keep presuming I must want a girl, which I'm trying to grow a thicker skin about. I loved finding out at the birth too, remembering that is what's keeping me strong from finding out lol!

Belfa I forgot you're a few days behind me. Makes me feel better having someone at the other side of Xmas with me
We have a 9 year age gap so we're starting from total scratch as well. We're also getting our upstairs reconfigured so another huge cost on top of everything else! We've got a bit of a cheek with this being an ivf baby, we should have been a lot more prepared lol!! Xx

Congratulations on the 20 week scan all! We had ours today - q amazing really! I didn't realise how much they check but they said all looks good!

Hope everyone is well!

My scan tonight was amazing, really good getting to see baby and knowing everything is going well. Baby was well behaved so was easy to get all the measurements and see everything they needed to check. Unfortunately that meant scan was done in 20mins, could have watched it for hours!!x

Aww that's great about your scan Lulu! And everyone else who've had them recently. I wish I'd stayed team yellow again too - it was definitely the best part of the whole pregnancy and labour for me too. But we just wanted to do it the other way so to speak! X

Congratulations all on your lovely gender news. Has everyone got the opposite of what they already have then? I've got a boy and convinced this will be another boy. We aren't finding out so need to wait until December to find out! I'm only17 weeks too, feel way behind you all. Got my 20 week scan in 3 weeks!

Sorry for the quick drop in, we're on holiday and my signal is rubbish. I'll catch up properly when I'm back but glad all babies and mummies are well! Xx

Yes we've got the opposite! No hiding a boy either. It was literally right there for us to see so I'd have guessed even if we hadn't found out! Aww hope those three weeks go quickly. I was lucky to have mine at bang on 19 weeks X

Congratulations to everyone on their gender scans! It's all so exciting.
We had ours last night, took all three children as a surprise. They thought we were going to look at a parrot haha!
We're having a little boy!! Cuffed to bits! Had tears of my son and everything. My youngest girl however put her grumpy face on stating she wanted a girl

Hope you are all keeping well, haven't been around much the last few weeks, work has been manic! X

No luck being added to the Facebook yet! Think I've messaged the correct lady X

Thinking of you Nat! Hope the time flies over until your scan! Enjoy X

Aww that's lovely! We're team blue too. My daughter who is only just turned 3 would like a sister. She doesn't know yet! She'll find out when he arrives X

We've got our 20 week scan tomorrow at 18+5. Hope it confirms a boy as I'm really excited about having a little boy now. I've been struggling all week with nausea and sickness. I've tried to drag to drag myself through till Friday as it's the end of term, but I felt so unwell at work yesterday. I was sick and then just feeling faint and hot with tummy pains. Husband came and got me and I spent all of yesterday in bed just trying to keep drinking water. I'm not in work today, but starting to feel a lot better and kept food down, so hopefully back tomorrow, even though I leave halfway through for my appointment.

We were team yellow with my daughter which I liked, but it has been nice doing it differently this time. We haven't told any friends or family as we still want them to have to surprise when baby is here. I called my daughter 'he' all the way through my pregnancy so calling this baby he won't raise suspicions! Just need to make sure all blue stuff we buy is hidden when we have visitors.

Sorry Vic! Nicki has been a bit quiet lately so she may not have seen your request..

Feel feee to add me as a friend (Emma Strong.. same profile pic as on here) and just let me know who you are and I'll send you a group invite. Same for anyone else who wants to join us!

Xxx

Congratulations on all of your gender scans!! I literally can't keep up anymore!! Xxx

This is a carbon copy of what we did/are doing! Only we know it's a boy. I called my daughter it and still do haha. I'm having to be careful knowing this time X

So mad today!!!

Went for my scan to be greeted by a very rude man who was the sonographer who basically barked 'why are you booked in so early?' At me. I explained it was because I was on holiday and not here from 19+2-21+3. He then told me it was too early and I couldn't have an anomaly scan before 20 weeks and I needed to come back in 2 weeks. He didn't seem to get 'I'm not here in two weeks'. He did a growth scan and it was just horrible. He just took a few measurements and in a monotone voice would just say 'head' 'tummy' 'thigh' ok clean your tummy.

So no anomaly scan done, no gender confirmation and I ended up in tears in the waiting room as I was made to feel like it was my fault. In my green notes it even states that anomaly scans are done 18-20+6. Then had a BP check which was surprisingly good at 111/75 considering I was seething and blinking back tears. My urine has something recorded as plus in my green notes, but nobody said anything and I can't read the scribble. I then sat for my consultant appt and waited 70 mins to basically go in and be told they couldn't really do anything as I hadn't had my scan. The doctor was lovely and very apologetic. Which was nice as nobody else was considering they had ballsed up.

So I'm back again in the middle of August and really hoping that my scan isn't going to be done by that nob!

No JoeyClare that's awful!! Why do people think it's ok to show no common decency. I hope you got his name and I'd be putting in a complaint. I know it sounds petty but part of that guys job is to put you at ease and show some social skills. I complained about a midwife when I had a miscarriage and although nothing serious happened it made me feel better!!

Exactly 21 weeks today and this baby has suddenly woken up constant movement - hope this is normal!!
