Update! What I thought was baby's heartbeat this morning must of been mine as I just detected a super fast galloping horse! Now I've found baby! Amazing and hubby was hear to hear it too! I found it just above top of bikini line in the middle. Quite tricky to find, but amazing! I'm super excited and bouncing around the house. Think hubby thinks I've lost the plot! Lol

So glad the weekend is here. I normally use my doppler around once a week so will probably have a listen tomorrow or Sunday morning. I love listening and hearing the movements. JaiandLeigh I did the same as you and listened to my own heartbeat to compare and make sure I was gearing the right thing.

So glad it's Friday. Was sent home early from school yesterday as had a terrible migraine. Felt better today and went back to school. Since getting home I'm feeling really dizzy so it's the sofa for me tonight!!! Hubby not well either so hoping to get lo to bed early. TGIF

I'm soooo excited I have my gender scan on sun had midwife today nd I got to hear my baby's heartbeat it was amazing!! Xxx

I find if I don't drink at least 4 pints of water a day I feel so sick and sluggish the next day and yesterday I drank so little so I've been feeling crap today.
Is anyone else having really bad heartburn recently? Mines been horrendous!

Goat I've not had heartburn but had hiccups a lot.

I only seem to get heartburn if I eat too much sweet stuff. Baby mustn't like sugar!

Very excited for those of you that have or are going to have gender scans - would love to be able to do the same so excited to find out what team we are (5 weeks to go still!)

Has anyone else found they have a new found energy?? After 15 weeks of constant vomiting & tiredness (I.e. Asleep by 7/8pm most nights) for the first time since being pregnant my OH is fast asleep & I'm wide awake - I love it!! This week is the first point in my pregnancy to date that I can safely say I am enjoying it I'm loving watch bump grow & I'm loving staying awake lol. Feel so much better now - hope it continues this way!! Xx

JaiandLeigh I've still got just under 6 weeks until I find out what we are having too. It feels like ages away! I really hope it passes quickly.

I feel a little more energetic through the day but am still shattered at night. The busy pace of my work and the fact I'm on my feet all day in this heat is hard going though.

I don't think I've helped the heartburn situation as hubby came home with one of those amazing falafel wraps from the Turkish shop. I've polished it all off and am feeling so full. I never eat past 7pm so no doubt I'm in for a sleepless night but oh was it worth it!!

Hi ladies, hope you are all well and enjoying being pg!
Only 3 weeks to go until we find out the gender, I am soo excited. We are taking both boys with us as its a different setting and I dont really want to take them to the hospital hence private scan.
Goat, my 20 week scan is 8th August but we will know our team before.
Cant wait to do a bit of shopping!

Good luck to everyone getting their gender scans soon. I will actually be 21 weeks by the time mine comes around - not sure if i can wait that long and might go for a private one a bit earlier.

Any one have any exciting plans today? Weather's nice in London but I really need to clean the house…

Flowerpower I will be almost 21 weeks at my gender scan too. I'm 15 weeks today so feels ages away!

We've been looking at private scans but most of them say gender scan at 18 weeks so I thought it would then only be another 3 weeks to wait so not bother. Will just have to keep busy to pass the time.

We are going out for lunch today. Nothing exciting just trying to spend lots of time together every weekend. Don't know what else we will do. It's meant to be a nice day so maybe go to the beach or for a walk up the glens. I really don't know x

I too am busy cleaning the house flowerpower rubbish when the weather is so nice! But then this afternoon & evening we are busy doing things with the family & all going out for a meal etc so that should be nice. Then tomorrow hopefully relax and do very little

I'm cleaning and doing other house jobs because my husband has to work today going for tea at my friend's later though. She's got a 12 week old baby who she says I can practise on!!!

nikb I am very jealous you are so close to the beach - i love being on the coast. Parks in London are just not quite the same!

Baker baby I am very jealous you get to do some clucking. I have been avoiding babies for so long while I was struggling with the TTC'ing, now I desperately want some clucking time!

And Jaiand I am jealous of you because I know you are only down the road from my Mum and I miss her.

But… I can't complain, got my OH out getting me something yummy for lunch so all is right with the world.
