****December 2014 mums to be! Christmas babies!!*****

Hi ladies! It's such a lovely day! We started off the day with a big family shop in one of the giant Tescos at around 7.30! Normally we do online shopping but we forgot yesterday. We bought a paddling pool for our daughter and some balls and skittles. We set it all up so that when she woke up from her nap it was all ready. She loved it! She went straight back in it after our Sunday roast and has only just come out! She's trying out paints for the first time and is causing absoloute mayhem. So much tidying and cleaning to do now!

Knopk, will add your scan in shortly!
I hope everyone is ok? I'm so tired and could easily pass out on the sofa!xxx

Well we ended up with a little but of rain so never went to the beach but we did go to the zoo just to pass some time. Well it's more a wildlife park. It was ok.

We then went somewhere for lunch that turned out to be awful so we didn't eat it. So we went somewhere else and had a much nicer meal.

I went and got some neutral coloured cot sheets, pram/moses basket sheets and blankets so they're all in the wash now. I couldn't help myself lol. Away to put away my washing from earlier, do some housework and ironing and then I might have a seat. Means I won't have anything to do tomorrow so can have a relaxing day.

Hope you're all having a good day x

I've been making elderflower cordial, been grocery shopping and to hair dressers. Not long got home - worn out! Hubby is on a stag do so I have the evening to myself. Good job hairdresser did a colour patch test on my arm as I had a reaction! She said its because I'm pregnant so warning ladies be aware with hair dye! She had to use foils instead to avoid putting any on my scalp. My head would of swollen up like a balloon otherwise!

Just tv and a date with ironing for me tonight :)

Forgot to say i tried doppler today for the first time and found wriggle bum no problem, was tucked in on my left, probably asleep, such a wonderful sound

Well I'm away to do my ironing. Everything else is done. Then I might get the doppler out just to be nosey at the little monkey. Will also give me a happy thought before bed tonight :)

I'm pretty worn out tonight. How are you all feeling? X

Well I'm having a ridiculous crying fit because I've just discovered that my useless OH has gone away til Monday (left 3 days ago) and i'd worked hard on marking exams all day so I could sit down to watch a film tonight, only to find the idiot has taken the cable that connects the sound system to the tv so I can't watch anything! Having a major sulk about it! (Long story as to why he had to take this cable somewhere but let's just say it involves the bloody World Cup obviously!) x

Can you watch something on laptop/tablet/phone hun? Rubbish about the cable

Hi everyone... I'm now 16 weeks n feeling better with more energy! Saw 3 swallows on the way home, is it a girl for me???! Eeek xx

Isn't it magpies Marcella? I always count and salute lol.

Oh Rose :-( that usually happens to me. I never watch much tv but when home alone I think right I'll watch something I'd recorded onto the planner to find OH has deleted it! That drives me nuts as he watches some hidious American programmes!

I'm watching our queen on ITV, it's quite good actually. Can you watch iplayer off internet Rose?

Oh Rose that sucks! I'd be so dissapointed too.

Happy 16 weeks Marcella!!

Cariad, I'm watching Our Queen aswell, on +1 of course as hubby was watching football before. I'm really enjoying it too.

Knopk, I've added your scan in.

I've just spent the evening sorting out all my appointment letters and adding them into our joint calendar so hubby has no excuse to forget!

We have a very complicated set up...basically I can watch the tv but all our films are on the minimac which is hooked up to the tv (it's also our DVD player) and the only sound for that comes out our sound bar whereas the tv uses the inbuilt speakers. So I have watched a load of rubbish on tv because I've spent all day marking online so didn't want to sit with my laptop (which is old and very noisy and overheats). Makes it sound like I'm being really awkward but it really is all that difficult! Worst thing is that I text OH and he admitted he'd taken the cable and never even used it but he just left it in his bag. Which he has with him. Stupid men!!! X

Happy 16 weeks Marcella. I'm 15 weeks today.

I just sat for a good half hour trying to listen to baby. I will have to do it in the morning as the little monkey was far too active to get a good listen and all I could hear was thumps and swishes from moving around. That was good to hear too but I will have another listen in the morning when they're more likely to be still lol x

Caldrid... I ment magpies, having a mummy moment! Lol... I obviously need to get to bed x

P.s. Happy 14 weeks to me! Just been listening out for baby, can only just make it out tonight. He/she is hiding. I wanted to try to count beats per minute. Think I got 160. They say if it's over 140 it's usually a girl :)

6am was way too early this morning! Lo just doesn't realise it's the weekend. Exhausted and hubby not well so think this will be a long day!

Morning all. Cariad happy 14 weeks to you. X

I agree I think a like button would be good.

I'm about to try again with the doppler now since baby was bouncing around last night. I've counted beats per min before and always got just under the 160 so will be interesting to see at the scan if that's a true fact or not.

I keep getting asked if I have a feeling about if we will have a boy or a girl. I keep swaying back and forth between the two but I think I'm leaning more towards girl. I don't know why and it probably means the opposite for me ha ha.

What about names? Has anyone picked names yet? X

Well I originally thought a boy, but everyone else thinks I'm having a girl and I'm beginning to think girl now too. I've always said if we ever had a girl I like Lilly. Are you finding out the gender nikb? Your scan is before mine so I'll be interested to know! X

Yes we are finding out. We have picked the names Barry for a boy (after OHs best friend who died in a car crash years ago) and Alix for a girl (after my grandad).

I can't wait to find out. I just want to know now! Lol x

Hey ladies, I'm 16 weeks today! Gender scan in 2 days time.

I have no real feelings either way but I always imagined myself with 2 boys, so I'm guessing it's another boy! OH & most the family are convinced it's a girl though so we will see.

We dont have any names atall for a boy, but I'm edging towards Amelia (although haven't decided on spelling yet!) for a girl. It's not 100% but OH loves it so he's starting to win me over haha!
