really annoyed. Positive opk and dry as a bone. Highly annoying. Always cm when i dont need it.

Hi ladies
Sorry had a really busy day with clinics and acupuncture
Carys looks like your having a long surge, but if you felt the pain yesterday im sure you've ovulated
I've still got a positive Opk today and that's a week after my first positive so im thinking they are not accurate now, I had bad pain fri, dun and Wed so god knows
Georgesmum I only got EWCM CM on Sunday and im sure I ovulated on Wednesday and I was as dry as a bone Tue and Wed
Not sure why?? I even took cough medicine to help lol
So as I said ive got positive Opk agsin after a slightly negative one yesterday but sure I've ovulated as I'm CD 18!! And hopefully 2dpo xxxx

I got another positive today so assuming I caught end of surge. Would be nice to get into dpo bit now. Very impatient. Is it the day after a positive that you count as 1dpo or day after that?

thanks angel. Didn't manage to DTD last night and husband seems a bit reluctant to do anymore for a few days. Do you think I have done enough? Think it was cd 10, 12 and 14 (first positive opk)

You'll be fine
it is best to DTD a few times up to Ovulation rather than on and after Ovulation because it takes the sperm a while to get to the fallopian tube so if you have sperm there waiting when the egg is released its better, Sperm can live about 5 days ( female sperm live the longest)
Been doing research as I'm sure I ovulated on Wed but only DTD Fri - tue

Hi ladies
Hope you're all well and the days aren't dragging too much if you're in the 2ww!
I'm CD18 today and I think 6 or 7dpo, so another week until AF due. I was determined not to ss this month, but I'll just say I've 'observed' (!) that I've had mild AF type pains the last day or so. Worse this morning but I think have gone away now. Also a feeling of heaviness, as if AF on the way. Don't recall normally having this at this stage in my cycle but then I'm more aware of every ache and pain these days! Anyway, IF AF doesn't show, I won't be testing until a week Monday at the earliest!
Emma - glad your acupuncture went well. That relaxation/visualition CD you've got is the one I've been listening to this month. I found it useful so fx it helps us both!

Your symptoms sound really promising I know a few of the girls on the other thread who got their BFP'S last month had heaviness like AF was coming and cramps
I've had very very mild cramps today, nothing much and if I wasn't thinking about it so much I probably wouldn't even notice them

I've just looked at the CD and it's called 'Getting Pregnant Naturally'. Says it's a guided relaxation and positive visualisation CD for women trying to get pregnant. I found it helped me relax, and she gets you to focus on the parts of the body/hormones which are related to conception. I stopped listening to it a few days ago, which I probably shouldn't have!
Emma - are you still doing your opks or stopped now? Hope you're still feeling relaxed after your acupuncture session. When are you due to go again?

Does she talk about a white light that travels down your body gets you to focus on different parts of your body that are accocisted with hormones and the different stages of conception? I think it's really good,
The Acupuncturist was lovely and I don't know if it helped but I do feel more relaxed
