Morning All,

Rach I cant believe how quickly time is going. Maternity leave after 18 more shifts - sounds wonderful. How nice your doctors sound - our receptionists are like dragons although most of the clinical staff are lovely. Its like a game trying to get through them :rotfl:

Lea glad you got your chassis sorted I know you are all away ahead of me but you are all so organised - We have absolutely nothing - think we will wait till Han comes home in October as she will be back for a couple of weeks before she goes off to her next job and as we are using her room as a nursery and putting her a space in the study at least she wont feel too pushed out. Well its D Day for my son today - he gets his A level results this morning and I feel sick - he on the other hand is  away - it was such a lovely day when Han got hers - she worked so hard and was rewarded with excellent grades - he is a different kettle of fish - if he did more than a couple of hours revision on each subject I would be surprised so goodness only knows how he is going to do....... Sometimes I cant believe I'm starting off with all this again I must be mad :D

ROM, good luck with your sons results, I work in an academic department at Aberystwyth Uni so we are expecting loads of calls today., hope it's not too manic!

Rach, only 18 more shifts, lucky you, I've just worked out i have 16 weeks left till i go on maternity leave, it doesn't sound too bad that, I can't wait to be off work and take my little one to see Santa, last year she was too young, but this year she might be a bit more curious.

Lea, You got your chassis, well done. It's so exciting getting all the bit and pieces you need.

Last day at work for me today until Wednesday as me and DD are off to see in laws and buy a new buggy :cheer: :cheer: I can't wait, I'm like a little kid at christmas.

Are any of you sleeping badly, I keep on waking up in the night (manage to get back to sleep ok), but when I wake I'm always on my back, I'm sure I've heard your not suppose to sleep on your back, why is that?

Right I'd better start doing some work. Take care girls Becks x

jane  for your son everything crossed he gets good results today :D
cant believe han will be home in 2 months it doesnt seem so long since she went time is going so quick  our receptionists at our doctors have given up on me as i report them all the time to the surgery manager now they are nice to me all the time :rotfl: i never ask for appointments without good reason and only see the doctor once in a blue moon i refuse to be treated the way they treat people they think they are the doctors im sure :rotfl: now if i want an appointment and they say they cant fit me in i tell them to send the doctor out its amazing how quick they can fit me in then
i just love the "well whats wrong with you? are you sure you need to see the doctor?" if i didnt i wouldnt be phoning  and im not discussing with them any ailments i may have in front of a waiting room full of other people god they are so rude  xxxxxx
sorry rant over :rotfl: xxxxx

bexie i know what you mean about xmas i cant wait to take christopher this year to see santa and see how he is with all the pretty lights :D last year he was too little xxxxxx

I know Rach its mad that the summer season is nearly over - Han has had a real change of mind set and has put in for the Winter in Lap Land (dont think she will be dressing up as an elf though!!) Bless her its quite a short season and would be going out in November and then back mid January - we talked about it yesterday and as Dave is the worlds worst at bodily fluids :D (he chain chunders if anyone is sick) we are both a bit worried how he will cope as a birth partner - anyway we have had a good talk and I have asked Han if she would come with us.... She wanted to be a doctor until she had her dyslexia diognosed at 16. She is delighted and Dave is chuffed as he can concentrate on the head end :rotfl:

Off now to college with him to get them :puke: :puke: :puke: :puke:

Rom - praying he gets what he needs!  Hopefully you will be celebrating tonight! :cheer: Winter in lap land sounds great. Ive always wanted to go (even more since I gave up sunbathing a few years ago so winter holidays started to appeal more!)
Really nice that Han can be involved in the birth too...brave girl!

Well ladies by the skin of his teeth he did it!!! He got B,C and D!! Should have got 3 B's naughty boy!! But he has done enough to get his place at Uni so its now all systems go!!! I am stupidly proud of him even if he could have done so much better if he had worked harder :D :D :D :D :D

ROM - I already feel proud of my girl when she gives me a good kick so i cant imagine how proud I will be when she actually does exams!! Say well done to you DS from us! :cheer: :cheer:

Rach - I am wondering if hearing two heartbeats is twice as emotional  If so, you must be an emotional wreck! :rotfl:

babydust - i love seeing all your scan pictures at the bottom of your posts...makes me realise how much our little ones are changing. Are your daughters excited about getting a brother?

Im really well thanks! Nothing to report really! Im spending loads of time researching cots & prams etc...in fact it has blown my brains a bit...there is so much to think about and so many decisions to be made! Since being pg i seem to have lost the ability to make any decisions so im driving DH crazy! :D

Well today was a very sad day for us! :( Our doggie had to be put to sleep! He was very old, 15, and this morning he must have had some kind of stroke and didnt know what he was doing and it was horrible to watch! Hes been poorly for a while, kept getting infection on his eye that didnt heal and then he got some kind of skin thing where he was starting to get bald patches!
Its been so hard on Joe :( He has had him since he was about 6 weeks old!
I tried so hard to be strong for the kids and then for Joe but I broke down in the vet and couldnt stop! Joe broke my heart I have never seen him so sad! I know he is in a better place and we all think of him at "Rainbow bridge" and thats helping us all! The kiddies are kinda ok now they have been so sad all day and I know they will for a while but I think Joseph is worried for his dad! He asked me if we could have a party for Samson because it maybe will cheer Joe up! I said yes in a few days when we're less sad! :(

lea so sorry about your dog hun    xxx

Morning girls, have woken to bright sunshine, so am gonna chuck some washing in quickly to take advantage of it being able to dry (my drier packed up this week!). Had a crap night sleep, woke up lying on my back & now its killing me!! Am supposed to be sleeping on my side according to the physio. Oh well!! Took the girls into town yesterday for a bit of shopping & a McDs, they were really good & we had a nice time but I couldnt take my crutches as I cant keep hold of the girls & use them at the same time!! So I was quite sore & tired last night. Was planning on looking at prams & buying a few bits for the baby, but for some reason, baby shopping is just stressing me out at the moment?? I think that it is because everything is so blooming expensive!!

Lea, Im so sorry about your dog.  xx

Jane, well done to your son!!

Havent started actually xmas shopping yet, but a starting to plan for it. Just gotta get the baby stuff & school uniforms sorted first. Have to buy 2 sets now as my youngest starts school in Sept.

Anyone have anything fun planned for today??
