Wow Dubai. Sounds amazing, and bonus it not being as expensive as you thought. I hope your body settles down soon with the new contraceptive, doesn't sound nice.
Thanks ladies
I'm so jealous you're going to Dubai. We went for our honeymoon and it was amazing!
Foxy, I knew I'd seen you before. I lurked on the May board as I wasnt sure if I was due May or June. Turned out I was due 2nd June but the little pickle had us waiting until the 11th. Sorry to hear you lost it hope you have a better ttc journey next time.
KHTW, any news with you?
Kanga, hope you got your glasses sorted??
xx
No excited news I'm afraid! Waiting patiently for November (only just over 2 months eeek!) HOWEVER my toddler is giving us hell at bedtime and I am starting to question the whole 3 year gap... think I should go back to original plan of 5 year gap lol!!!! Although considering that we can only really DTD at weekends, it may take that long before we get pregnant
Thanks babymaker. It was hard but we fell pregnant again the next month so, I think I wouldn't have my little monster munch now if everything didn't happen the way it did.
KHTW, I'm sure everything will be fine with a 3 year age gap! That's the gap I'm aiming for so I'm really hoping it will be fine! Lol.
We're very excited! It looks amazing and so much for the boys to do there. Hopefully it'll be hot but not too hot ☀️
I think that whatever age gap you have it will work. We have a 19month gap which is hard work but we're at a stage now where they entertain each other (and fight! x
Thanks girls! I know... i am probably overthinking it but that's me
DD is a very good, easy going child most of the time so hopefully she will adjust well x
Hope you feel better soon KHTW! Glad your OH is there so you can rest.
The kids stayed at Granny & Grandad's last night We went for a few drinks and a curry which was lovely. Picked the kids up this morning and both have colds and temperatures
Although it's not nice that they're poorly, it's been a very peaceful day with minimum noise and carnage Little miss fell asleep in her playpen. One minute she was playing the next she's lying on her front, bum in the air, sleeping lol! So I carried her to bed and not heard a peep since. Daddy and DS playing playstation which gives me some nice quality PF time without interruption
Hope everyone else is well.
xx
We are the same in our house. Joe started nursery 2 weeks ago and got a cold and a cough straight away which I now have to. I know what you mean babymaker, it's not nice him being ill but it is a lot quieter and I'm loving all the cuddles lol. Hope your little ones feel better soon.
KHTW, hope your feeling better soon to.
Hope you're all ok and everyone is starting to feel better following colds etc? We've managed to escape so far!
The boys have settled into school really well, just trying to organise their social life - how is it that kids have a better social life than the adults??! X
Morning! The cold is leaving slowly... but I am well enough to be at work today!
That's great that they both settled ok into school. I know how their social life is better - they have loving mothers organizing it for them lol. I wish somebody went and organized one for me too
Our colds are very persistent and don't seem to be easing.
Glad your boys have settled in well, it's a worry isn't it. My little joe happily went into nursery on Monday for the first time! Normally have to Leave him in tears and it's the worst thing! Fx he will be the same again tomorrow.
Nothing worse than seeing your baby cry when you are trying to leave... Hopefully it's a sign he is settling in and there is no more tears! (which is kind of sad too). Damn, sometimes there is no winning at parenting!
I know what you mean about no winning at parenting. The other day I made my DS his dinner. Pasta, sausages and a tomatoey sauce (one of his fav's). I put it in front of him and he moaned as I'd given him the wrong shaped pasta..... I guess at age 5 gratefulness still hasnt kicked in
Bit of a boring week for DD and I. She has impetigo so no playgroups this week
Explains the temperature last weekend. Hope everyone's colds get better soon.
xx
Oh no, poor girl! Loads of cuddles with mummy will help x
Don't talk to me about food; 90% of plates i put in front of DD gets pushed away without tasting with one simple sentence: I not want it!???!!!! She is not even 2
We had tears again today but he did get down and start playing straight away and was smiling etc, it's just when I said bye he got upset. Still feel like we are making progress though!
Yea, joes the same, hardly eats anything I put in front of him. He LOVES peas, so most of the time he will nibble at the other stuff and eat a load of peas lol.
I hope you're little girl is better soon BabyMaker!
We're quite lucky when it comes to food as both my boys eat well, we always have at least one thing on the plate they will eat and try and encourage new foods. We followed BLW with both of them (spoon feeding did not work in our house!) Our parents hated it but now they can see the benefits for our boys. I know it's not for everyone but as I'm such a fussy eater I would try anything to stop my boys being the same. My youngest would quite happily be a veggie if he could. He loves broccoli and one day at preschool they were using it for painting and he decided to eat it lol
