Midnight thats a fab cake!!

Theres a lady on FB and she makes the most amazing cakes, i think her pages is called "sweetcakers" or "andrea's sweetcakers" and my god she is good, she does classes too but she's based in the US I reeeeeally want to go!!

Ive got a ton of bananas here going to pot so might just throw a banana loaf together so they dont get wasted!!

I enjoy baking too, I find it really therapeutic... My favourite cake to do is carrot, but I do a mean lemon or orange drizzle cake. I have just made a batch of pistachio cupcakes from the book my ss gave me.. They are delic already, will ice them in the morning but I can't see them lasting long

My best friend and mother to a certain footballer asked me to do his and his partners joint birthday cake last night.... altho I havent taken any orders since having really horrible morning sickness I make the exception for friends and famliy so looking forward to getting back to baking next week.....xx

They say they're a cross between a cake and a biscuit but you put the filling between two of the whoopies rather than on the top like a cake! Look a bit like a macaroon! They also have recipes for butterscotch blondies and a cobbler recipe too! But all the weight measurements are in grams which is great! Going to attempt some peanut butter ones this wknd as I have huge amounts of peanut butter!

I know that was the only thing I really missed when being pregnant!but since I had h I've been bought 5 big tubs of peanut butter and now can't eat it on toast everyday so need to find other ways of using it lol!

Right you creative baking ladies! Anyone know a recipe for chocolate and orange cake? I wanna attempt my wedding cake but don't want fruit (ugh) or plain sponge!

Yup..... my choc and guiness recipe...its a great sponge for muffins, cup cakes and also slab cakes! Its the basic recipe and I add whatever flavouring I want at the time..... You cant taste the guiness it just keeps the cake dark and moist so dont worry if you dont like guiness! lol I will email it to you xxx

My friend just uses a basic recipe and adds orange flavouring or she uses chocolate orange instead of plain chocolate!

yeah thats another option TB.... NP Helen...its the recipe I always use when get orders for choc slab celebration cake its moist but sturdy too! Yum Yum Im itching to get baking now lol xx
