****AUGUST TESTING THREAD****

Well...not too sure....I did read somewhere that having a stuffy/runny nose is an early sympton....or I could have dreamt it. I have this at the moment but it could be a cold. Not sure when AF is due now as I OV-ed early (CD11) and last months cycle was only 27 days. I have been feeling very wet (sorry...TMI I know).....is that a sympton?

How are you Ellie?.....I notice your ticker is back on day 2....I take it AF turned up in the end?

Hmmm yeah she did. I had 4 days of CM 2 weeks ago which must have been my real OV but I'm fcuked if I can understand why I got a +ve OPK and OV pains 2 weeks before that. My body is doing some crazy stuff! I hate it!!!

You don't temp yet do you? If you get AF this month you should start, that's how I'm going to work out my OV from now on...

I think being wet is a good sign and I have heard about the being stuffed up thing too. Not sure how it works but it's defo a symptom. Hope it isn't a cold!!! I'm keeping everything crossed for you on the 30th then!!!

Yeah...not temping yet...seems like a lot of hard work....worth it of course but not sure I'll be able to do it consistently....I do keep meaning to look into it though.

I have noticed now - the last 2 months anyway....that now I am looking for OV I do have OV pains for 2-3 hrs that then disappear suddenly. Having said that I think by then its a bit too late for BDing for the egg to be released into a big pool of swimmers - unless I can get to OH quickly enough before pains stop. I'm also expecting OV earlier now than before I started ttc. I'd always assumed I ov-ed on day 14 on a regular basis but the last 2 months its been day 11 (this month....quite late in the evening) and day 12 the month before (late morning)....I'm figuring bding days 9, 10 or 11 should be about right. It is strange that you had OV pains but no OV....I have to say I trust OV pains coz I can imagine the follical (spellings terrible I know) erupting and releasing the egg. Maybe I'mm try and tempt next month and see if it all ties up. The month I had the OV pains on day 12 I had done a ov preditor test the day before and got a positive and then on day 12 (after OV) the line was much fainter and I thought this made sense as I think the ov predictor shows the 2 most fertile days and these are the 2 days before ov. I didn't use predictor tests this month.

Just noticed another possible sympton....I ate a huge dinner and am feeling hunger pains right now...that's not normally for me I must say.

I hope your body is more sorted this month and you get a clear indication of OV...I would really like us to catch the egg together so we can be pregnancy buddies

I know, I would love that too seeing as though we've been testing buddies but I don't want to slow you down. I want you to get your BFP this month! I'll try my hardest to get a sep BFP and be a month behind you.

I'm worried though that my DH is away from the 27th Aug to 2nd Sep so if I OV between those dates I'll be waiting another whole month!! He's offered to freeze some for me, I've tried to explain that it doesn't quite work that way!!!

Hello ladies
I'm new (kind of!) to this forum. We have a 1 yr old daughter and have decided to ttc #2!
I am a bit confused as to when i ovulated,because i've gotten 5 negative and 1 positive opk within 24hrs
so for now,i'll stick to today as my O date.
14 days to go

I just cant sleep as am so sad I just wanted to update you that I got my AF tonight, a week late .

A positive is that my OH went to the doctors about his low sperm count and it looks like an operation can help as he has a hydrocele cyst and Varicocele that can be removed by surgery and should increase the flow of sperm. This is sooooo frustrating as it was diagnosed in 2002, and they new it would cause a fertility issue but did nothing about it and said it was harmless It could have been sorted years ago.

Anyway, we're going private as luckily I signed up to my companies private medical insurance, so in the next couple of months I'll have my BFP

Ok..my OPKs are weird! i've been having 99.9% positive tests for 3 days now,but what's weird is that at a different time i get negatives inbetween.

So,put me down for testing around 5th sept. thanks x
