Its exciting watching all the ladies going into labour eh? Some fellow ladies from TTC way back and finally its here!! Not long at all till its us. My weeks have flown by recently - can clearly remember my 16 week mw appointment like it was yesterday and I'm 29 weeks now!! I keep getting this feeling I'm gonna be early and I have no reason to think like that. I'm seriously thinking of packing a hospital bag "just in case" am I mental?? Think this weekend I'll go buy some newborn nappies, maternity towels and stuff I'd rather not get caught out. I have no logical reason for thinking this - I was 12 days late with Joshua and he was 8lb 11.5 oz (brings tears to my eyes). Hey maybe cheer myself up with my first Tri 3 bumpy pic!!

No you're not mental Tracey! My hospital bags are all packed! I just had an overwhelming urge to get everything done and the hospital bag was something I wanted ticked off the list. It's sitting in my room ready to go!

OMG Tracey I have started to think the same thing! Since my fall at the weekend I keep thinking "Oh god, this baby is coming early" I have no reason to think it, I was 10 days late (although my bro 3 weeks early) and I reckon dates wise it should be right on time, but the last few days I have had this overwhelming urge to get everything ready! By my 33rd week I reckon everything will be done.

afternoon ladies
lulu i cant believe how organised you are! i've brought most of the stuff for my hospital bag but have yet to pack it!!! OH shocked me this afternoon . . . decided to remind me that its only 4 weeks till 37 weeks! and he now thinks i'll go early, as i was my mums first but was born at 30+4! i'm now DEFIANTLY packing my bag on the week end!

Hehe I'm not working at the moment so I've had a lot of spare time to get everything done. It was bugging me soooo much, I kept thinking 'what if?' and couldn't relax properly until I had it packed!

my OH made me get most of the stuff for the bag ata bout 29/30 weeks as he was worried i'd go really early like my mum did!!! just need to wash the baby clothes, then i can get the bag together, was going to do it today but its been raining here, and don't want to put them in the tumble dryer!

You should've seen my house this past week - baby clothes hanging everywhere to dry! 2 clothes horses with lots of tiny babygros and little socks hanging from them hehe

Im sure she will stay where she is for a while but i have been shopping to get the last bits for both our hospital bags just in case.
so by tomorrow morning i will be all ready for her. (bet she comes late lol).

Im looking forward to my antenatal class on Saturday

Eeekk.. I still need to do my bag, I keep meaning to do it, but I always forget to pick the stuff up when I go shopping! Should really make it my goal for next week!! x

I keep forgetting to buy the things i need for my bag.
Been off work sick for 5 weeks so i have no excuse to be disorganised

Phew..... Im not mental after all!! Ive written my birth plan in notes even though I know will be thrown out the window lol. Hey do I pack a tiny baby outfit now and replace with newborn outfit when Ive gone passed my date? I remember when I had Joshua I had 2 outfits in case, a tiny baby and a newborn. I looked at Joshua, looked at tiny outfit and gave it to woman in ward with prem baby..... Omg just realised I still need a changing bag.... I kept everything so I just feel too organised.... If gonna forget something it will be my stuff, toiletries, nightie, knickers etc. Thats what happens when you become a mum, forget about yourself and kids have everything!! So many times I go on holiday and realise Ive got no coat, or jumper or brain.....

Hiya girls, Had my 32wk mw appt yesterday. some of you may remember me talking about how at my 12 wk scan the woman said "i actually make you further on by 4 days than what they said at your early dating scan" so i would be due sooner, but she also said as its my first baby it will probably be late so didnt bother giving me a new due date. I spoke to the midwife yesterday about this and she checked the scan notes etc. and said that the 12 wk scan is actually more reliable than the early dating scans because things are still small at the early ones, so she should have gave me a new date. Got my new date now though so 5th of August.

I know babies come when they want, but it was annoying me thinking i'm actually further on but don't know for sure. Just 4 days, but made it clearer to me .

Can you update my due date please hun to 5th of august! Thankies!!

Also means i'm now 33 weeks, eeeek! xxx

Tracey, I didn't even think of this but what a fabby idea! I'm waiting for my 32 week appt on Monday then I'm doing all the clothes; I will deffo be packing a teeny outfit and a newborn outfit, good thinking

How are we all ladies?

I have been in the nursery again today sorting out all babies bits for their hospital bag; I've picked like three outfits each for if it's a boy or girl

Just waiting on MW tomorrow to start the mass washing! Hoping I don't have a water infection as it's been a bit painful when I've needed to go to the loo... Hope it's just bubs using my bladder as a pillow!

Does anyone else think Tri3 is a bit quiet now Shauna and Midnight and Cherelle and Flopsy and Sunnyb etc have had their bubs? I miss them all! x

Yep i do think it is quiet without them!...

I have not picked Charlies outfit yet (will be babygrows though - as they are just too cute on newborns), Im taking quite a few, all different sizes as just dont know when he will come or how big he will be!

I just want to press a >> fast foward button now, as ive had lots of different things going on which has made the time go quicker but the last big event (friends wedding) was yesterday so now the next thing will be Charlies arrival..which could be 8-10 weeks away!!

I keep little milestones, like midwife appointments (next one on tuesday, so will find out if i have to go for a growth scan), 50/40/30 days to go etc.. and obviously im waiting to beat brookes arrival of 33 + 4.. which is not that far away!!

I just am getting bored now, i never thought id say this but 'Roll On Brooke's Summer Holidays' then we can go do lots of fun things (but then i will only have about 3-4wks till due date so might not feel like doing anything)..

O well.. Just have to keep buying more baby clothes and things to keep me occupied! xx

I've packed way too many babygros etc for the hospital, theres no way I'll need them all but just couldn't pick!

We finished off painting bits of the nursery today like the skirting boards etc and it's totally wiped me out. I was sitting/crouched on the floor most of the time and now I've got period-type pains which is a bit alarming but hoping its just braxton hicks!

It's definitely more quiet in here now the June mummies have had their babies - we should make more of a racket!

Where has the time gone!? Not long till its our turn i wonder who will be the first of us to pop.
