****August babies Tri 2 singing hot hot hot *****

aw congrats on team blue Sarah!
I have been worrying about movements too, it doesn't help when you're too early to feel them regularly! Although today I found out I have an anterior placenta so not holding out much hope of them being regular until much later now x

Yay Mexico for team yellow!!
I barely managed to avert my eyes today and I physically had to cover OH's eyes :rotfl:

I also have an anterior placenta again! but luckily this time round I can feel movements a lot more, especially when I'm laid in bed.

Eeeek!! We are officially :blue: booked a private gender scan this evening as hadn't felt baby move for a couple of nights so thought we would kill two birds with one stone. Soooo happy

Yay congrats on being team blue Sarah! Hope the scan managed to reassure you too xx

Thank you! It really did. I don't like complaining about the NHS but my MW told me to phone the MAU if I noticed any differences in movements. 2 nights with no movement when I always feel it when I lay in a certain position and all the hospital said was "well you're still too early for regular movements" :wall2:
At least I know he is alright now. It's been so nice buying baby boy things again :blue:

I'm really surprised your midwife said that, as mine specifically told me not to worry about regular movements. Apparently you'll start feeling regularity or patterns from about 29 weeks. I don't feel anything atm other than the odd wee fluttery feeling but definitely nothing regular. :) Glad you are feeling better about things!xx

I was quite surprised too when she said it. I said to her I feel it on a night time but not very much through the day at the moment and she just said "well there you go, if you suddenly stop feeling the movements at night time it's better to get yourself checked out" I know from last time that regular movements came around 24 weeks but when someone says that to you it makes you worry, especially when my partner suffers with severe anxiety and was there when she said it. Movements have been so strong this time that even he has felt him move a few times already. With my first son I was around 22 weeks before he could be felt from outside xx

My 20 week scan is on Tues. Will hopefully find out the sex. :) :)

Am I the only person who still hasn’t felt anything for definite at all?

I keep feeling a weird feeling which is almost like I’m hungry ...

Twice I’ve felt something more definite and thought ‘is that a kick?’ But it’s been so quick I haven’t been sure.

I’m 20 weeks on Monday and my scan is on Wednesday.

Is this your first baby? With my first I was a lot later than this time. Also if you have an anterior placenta that could make it harder to feel movements xx

I'm 20 weeks, it's my first and I haven't felt anything either X

I didn't feel my first until much later too, you probably are feeling them but they're so slight you're not aware if that makes sense? once the kicks get bigger you get used to the sensation x

Awww Sarah not long to find out the gender! For the first time mums don’t worry too much about movement with your first I’m didn’t feel anything to around 24-25 weeks I think! Also I think it’s because you have not felt it before you don’t know what it is when often it is the baby!!! How exciting love hearing about all the other gender scans!! Xx

Yes - it is my first. Not sure about the placenta thing - I could check my notes from the first scan, or do you usually find out in the second?

I found out at my gender scan but yes it's usually at the anomaly scan when they find out the placenta location.

Hi everyone. Has my scan yesterday at 19+1. Everything ok. Feeling baby move most days and especially lots today which is nice. We've stayed team yellow again! Hope everyone else is well x

Aww bless you Ttc glad everything went well! Yeah me too I’m feeling lots of movement. Do you have an inkling what your having. I see you have a little boy, I have a little girl 6 months younger than your little boy! We were team yellow for here too! Are you secretly hoping for a girl? Xx

Mexico yes I’d love a little girl as I think this will be our final baby but equally I always wanted a sister when I was younger so if my little boy got a brother I think he’d be really happy. So long as it’s healthy that’s the main thing. Are you hoping for a boy to his time?

Yeah ideally, and this will be out last baby we always said we would just have two. But like you said two sisters is nice or two brothers! Do you have an inkling what you think it will be? Do you feel any different symptoms wise? Xx

We are staying team yellow again if you want to put it against my name. Got another 17 days till scan as not having mine until 20+5. that is better due to my weight as it should be easier for them to get a clear view. I already feel like I have a pretty hefty bump though which, although I am eating like a pig isn't me putting on weight as have gained less than a kilo so far.

I was quite surprised this morning when I weighed myself, I'm very overweight to start with but at 19 weeks I have only put on 7.5lbs since I got :bfp: in December
