****August babies Tri 2 singing hot hot hot *****

Ooh you should hopefully get a few weeks to put your feet up first!!

See best case scenario for those working in schools is hope you are late as you get more time off as holiday and not not maternity! Haha! I am planning to finish on 20 July due on 1st xx

I know baby needs to stay put as long as possible!! I've got a feeling she'll come in July though!! X

I have a feeling I am going to be early with this one too!! Weird isn’t it! I don’t know why but think it will be a July baby! Hubby’s birthday is on 24 July so would be nice if it’s around then so they can celebrate together!! X

I would love my boy to be born in July! I don’t know why really but I just have the 29th July in my head! Thankfully I have some annual leave to take before maternity so will also finish work on 20th July just in case xx

I haven’t taken any annual leave of this years entitlement as I like to tag mine on to the end Of my maternity doni take less statutory maternity as it’s shocking what you receive!! Haha I bet we will all be late now!! I wonder who’s baby will arrive first? Xx

I was 6 days late with my first but I felt I’d be late whereas with this one I think I might be a few days early or on time for some reason. I’m finishing up work at 38 weeks so 26th July taking 2 weeks annual leave then starting Mat on 9th Aug which is due date. It’ll allow me time to spend with my son before baby arrives if nothing else x

I've got it in my head 27th July. I think I'll go into labour the day after I break up then give birth on 27th haha!

Mexico I agree about statutory maternity pay, it’s next to nothing! As I work for a charity that’s all I’ll get and honestly I’m stressing about it a bit as it’s such a drop in wages and I’m the main earner in our house. I know it’ll be ok and we’ll figure it out as we go but right now it seems impossible!

It’s funny how we’re all thinking we might be early, which more than likely means we’ll all now be late! Xx

We have just been able to move back into our house after the leak - hooray! The floors have been stripped in the dining room and bathroom though...

I’m the same I earn more in a week than statutory provides in a month!! !!! That’s good red! Haven’t got to see the midwife for another two weeks which is good I’ll be just over 28 weeks then! Crazy isn’t it! I am hoping I just keep growing otherwise I won’t be able to have my planned homebirth with a water birth x

Keep growing! I think week 28 is busy for me too - scan and midwife!

I def think I'll be early with this one. Dd1 came on her due date and dd2 was 7 days over. I think I'll be about a week early with this one. Just a feeling I have. And it'll be nice too because he's due 17th Aug, so if he comes a bit earlier we have extra time as a family all together before dd1+2 are back to school/nursery.

I don't have any feeling about when baby will appear but I am sure glad it's going to be the summer months. Being pregnant over winter was awful and I was ill every 3.5 mins with another bug, I can't imagine trying to go through tri 3 in the depths of winter haha Also the light nights and warmer weather and summer feeling just adds a little extra buzz to the prospect of having our little one and family time! xx

It’s postivrs and negatives about summer and winter births, particularly the temperature as i am not looking forward to being in the heat of summer full term where as at winter it wasn’t a problem I gave birth! It doesn’t matter what time of year it was for me as I worried in winter if they were too cold and in summer I will worry they are too hot! The joys of being a worrying mother! As I understand you never stop worrying about your children and it is not until you have you own you can fully appreciate why!! Can’t beleice I have just over 13 weeks left!!! Ahhhh still doesn’t feel like I am going to have two of them! Xx

I know it's crazy- 14 weeks for me to the 40 week mark exactly. Thing is though she might come end of July because they kept adjusting my dates. I was tracking ovulation all through ttc and I am sure my dates are right and that landed her due on 25th July but they said oh she's small so therefore changed it to 5th August as they are thinking ovulation happened later. But she might actually just be small in size haha You never know x

Aww I loved having winter babies because I loved snuggling them up in warm stuff :)

One of the reasons for opting for a homebirth this time is because we have a portable air conditioning unit that I can have in the bedroom during labour. I hate the idea of travelling to the hospital in sticky heat and then possibly being stuck in a stuffy room for hours :(

I’m have elected for a homebirth too! Wanted it for my first but didn’t go to plan and had to be induced!! Xx
