** August 2019 Testing Thread**

OH MY ACTUAL GOD!!!
@SugaryIris that line is bloody beautiful!!
You deserve this sooooo much <3
I am absolutely over the moon for you. Massive congratulations to you hunnie

That spotting was obviously a good sign for you :)

It is definitely worth asking about the progesterone or they even give you aspirin to help with miscarriages too! Xx

Thank you so much. It means so so much to me.

I’m definitely going to call them, I don’t see any harm in asking.

Spotting has been a bad sign on so many occasions it’s so strange how every cycle is different, it has stopped since about 9dpo though.

I don’t know what to do with myself, I want to just skip work and hide in bed with my little secret.

Take the day off and have a day to yourself and your wee little bean.
Absolutely over the moon for you hun and I mean that from the bottom of my heart.
It’s so nice to see people who you have bonded with on this forum get their one wish <3 xx

Congratulations @SugaryIris

My GP didn’t prescribe progesterone even though I’d had 2 miscarriages but the EPU prescribed me 75mg aspirin and increased folic acid (5mg) so I’d get booked in ASAP but don’t take any medication without advice first x

I am just in utter shock. 12dpo today and I got this beautiful line. I think it’s stronger than any line I’ve had before.

I don’t understand, how can the fertility treatments not work and then I get a natural bfp?!?!?

I’m so scared about another loss, having already had 3.... do you think if I call the gp they would give me progesterone? It helps reduce the risk of early mc according to Tommy’s...

Thanks, I’ve emailed my dr who did our treatment at the clinic to see if they can prescribe/recommend and if they can recommend might help me persuade the gp x

Yeah that would definitely help, I had testing done at Tommy’s and they gave me a letter saying I was to have it so my gp didn’t put up a fuss. Hopefully they give you it even if it’s just for peace of mind x

So my gp won’t prescribe without someone writing a letter but my fertility clinic will, just means I have to drive an hour to go pick up, but I’ll have it this evening, so that’s a relief.

Oh brilliant hun, the hour drive will be so worth it <3 xx

The dr was also exposing that the clinic also offer early scanning from 6 weeks. I don’t won’t to book anything just yet but I think I will need one to give me peace of mind!

Sorry you have to jump through these hoops but I’m glad you’re getting it in the end x

I’m going to get one as well but I’ve not booked it yet. I’m going to wait until maybe around 8 weeks x

Thank you ladies, honestly the support I get on here is incredible. I feel so blessed to have so many ladies supporting me!

My dh was a little bit worried that progesterone might have risks attached but as far as I’m aware it’s 100% safe in early pregnancy.

What risks is he worried about? Progesterone is a natural hormone that woman have when pregnant (and when not), there’s no risks to it. I was told it might help but definitely won’t hurt x

Been getting slight uncomfortable cramps all afternoon. Little bit painful but more annoying than anything!
I am trying so hard not to jump the gun ad think this is a symptom but its hard not to :( x
