I'm feeling lots better, I'm not sure if it's to do with the iron tablets but I feel far more energetic.
I have a massive inkling we have Ofsted in next week! How horrid on the last week.
Which reminds me, I hope Blanco's visit is going well.

I have 2 but it's not my choice this time. I picked lo's first name & hubby picked her middle name so it's the other way round this time. He hasn't thought of any yet though, he only has a girls name and I really didn't like it so lucky we won't need it now lol

Hi everyone, not been on in a while. Work has been mad but really starting to look forward to the Christmas break now and a few weeks of nice things (especially now I've got the minutes out of the way!).

So sorry to hear about your cousin mrs nel. A friend of mine lost her little girl after going into labour at 23 weeks a few years ago, and I felt really bad because at the time friends and family had been announcing pregnancy left right and centre and I was frustrated that it wasn't our turn yet. x

Congrats tinks on your team blue!

My scan is tomorrow - simultaneously really excited and really nervous. Keep nearly crying for happiness at getting this far and seeing our little one again and fear that it could yet go wrong. I did the 'we just need to get to 12 weeks' thing, it's been 'we just need to get to my almost 21 week scan' for the past weeks, and from tomorrow it will change to 'we just need to get to v day'...

Hope Blanco's OfSTED is going OK. We had ours exactly a year ago. At the time I remember everyone saying how horrid it would be to have one the last week before the Christmas holidays, and someone at the time investigated and discovered they don't do them the week before Christmas hols (or at least they didn't last year, and I don't think the guidelines have changed much since the goalposts were moved), so hope that puts your mind at ease Gillyboos

Sounds good Blanco. They didn't tell us anything until the Monday afterwards, and even then were really vague until the official report, which came out 5 weeks later.

I really hope that is true! It all stems from another school in our family being inspected and apparently the HMI let slip that a team would be in our town on the 18th. I'm really hoping it's chinese whispers as the back end of an eight week term just before Christmas is really cruel ha!

Had friends over the last two evenings, and over my parents this morning for the rest of the weekend as my dads family is down. Kind of wishing I had a bit of time to myself too!!
