Ha ha thank u! I have been umming and ahhhing about finding out this time and when I saw the idea I though it was fab! Will prob never have the chance to do something like that on Xmas day again even is we do gave another what's the chances of a 20 week scan so close!! X

Morning all
Hehe yeh naomi I think its the teacher bit in me about being organised! Iv just got the fear that I go on maternity leave and we are skint so if iv got enough nappies we'll be fine! Crazy how your pregnant mind works! To be honest iv just been picking up nappies in my shopping or when iv been out and iv noticed the offers!

Well today is payday for me but im not planning on a big shopping spree given how close we are to Christmas!

What's everyone got planned for their Thursday?

Morning ladies, just to let you all know mothercare has a huge 20% off everything online and in-store (there are a few exclusions) until Monday 2nd December just been looking at prams and stuff think me and hubby might go and take a peak .

Lynne I have about 300 pampers nappies and 10 packs of Johnson's baby wipes, thing is as my babies like to come early I have to be all prepared and have it done at 30ish weeks ! So I get a little crazy when I see offers on haha.

Karen - yep we decided after the 12wk scan to do it New Years. Mum and dad don't want to know, and we are spending Xmas with them so didn't want to blab accidentally!! Plus we weren't 100% sure about finding out so this way it gave us more time to think!!

I didn't think I would have the will power but the more I thought aout the idea the more it just seemed so cute and nice to do the more I wanted to! Plus this was a bit of a surprise for me and the OH so I think it would help us bond over baby and make it a special occassion. I know what you mena - I would def say he/she by mistake in that situation Have a lovely new years finding out

Had a wee bit of a heart to heart with my OH last night as I kinda erupted emotional lava all over the place lol! Been up most night crying and he heard me at half 4 and was so nice to me and said lovely things - but I am still upset today. Stuck in work now trying not to get teary at my desk and have a horrible lack-of-sleep/post-sob headache!

30 packs...thats nothing! My OH took advantage of a Tesco glitch weeks ago when nappies were on buy one get one free and 3 for 2 (or something similar!) Only problem is the blissfully ignorant fool bought sizes that are too big so we are still going to need to stock up on Newborn and 1 and 2 sizes So my cupboards are going to be full for quite some time!!!!!! for some reason he thought that not all new borns would fit into the small sizes. Either he has actually been paying attention to me speaking and knows I was a 10pounder and 60cm long at birth, or he thinks I am going to be mahoooooosive. Probably trying on the mama's & papa's bump infront of him was a bad idea...it did look like you could roll me down the street or use me as a space hopper!

Perhaps I will have to start thinking of a hospital bag sooner, some of you seem so organised!

Thanks for the mothercare tip! We needed a new monitor so got a sensor mat tommy tippie one that was already down in sale to £85 plus another 20% off bargain!!! X

just tried to get that and they're gone.

Just got back from aqua natal. It was pretty good, just the right amount of exercise. Ours was run by two midwives one who did the lighter warm up and cool down the other did mild aerobics with us.
