****** April Mummies!!!! ******

Oh I would too Lynne I love chips with loads of vinegar on....... Think I'll be sending hubby the chippy ;-) xx

Mmm cheesy chips sounds lush!! Might get myself some tomorrow. Pasta bake for me tonight as long as i can stomach it. Been really sick all day- had to phone in sick for the first time this whole pregnancy. Didnt want to spend another day running to the loo like last week though. Sickness has eased the last hour or so so hoping i will be able to eat in a bit!
Don't understand why i had like 6 weeks feeling fine and then sickness has suddenly come back... hope it doesn't last long!! Xxx

Hiya to carol!

And yes Ams, it was my 16 weeker today. Hope yours went well. Our LO kept us waiting for over 5 mins and 2 changes of position before appearing from behind the placenta (which is on the right side, as I'd predicted from where all my pains were early on). So my sticky bean has turned into a tinker, which doesn't quite go with pip or bean, but tonka is quite close and that is a type of bean, so we've renamed it tonka bean! What with that and the 3 attempts to get the nt measurement at scan and I've a feeling we're going to have a cheeky baby :)

I was ready for my bed by the middle of maths test A in first lesson when I was pulling my hair out. So salmon en croute leftovers are in the oven for dinner and we bought mince pies too, so I may well have ky first mince pie of this winter - woohoo!

I'm a bit weird with crunchy things with sauces though. Chips are crisp on the outside, sauce of any kind makes them soggy which just turns my stomach! I have to keep them separate and then dip one by one. I think I'm a bit ocd with foid sometimes - also don't like food mixed up if it wasn't cooked together, I tend to 'rearrange' my food if its plated for me and I like to eat things in a certain order. Now you all know how weird I am lol

Oh I eat food in order lol from maccies to fish and chips your not weird hun...... Unless I am too lol xx

I enjoyed every bite and there was plenty vinegar!!

Naomi had sickness until I was 10 weeks constant then it disappeared until I was 12 weeks and then it returned with a bang! I still have sickness, as recently as yesterday morning. I've even noticed im eating less now I am nearly 19 weeks pregnant than I was eating before I was pregnant! So, I am giving in and enjoying whatever I can stomach!

Got a roast on the go for tea tonight - can't wait but you lot have made me want chips now.

I'm a weirdo though and like mine with loads of salt and vinegar and drenched in curry sauce (Chinese not chip shop)

Glad your apt went well Mrs P - even if your LO was being a tinker!

All well at my appointment, everything clear and normal and she got the Heartbeat as soon as the little thing hit my belly - it was amazing :D Didn't get a chance to record it so have ordered a Doppler :D

Eva's really busy tonight, she always seams active in the evenings and at night now. Anyone else getting more movement?

Aww pixel I can't wait I still have the wind bubble as I call it I know it's her tho as I have felt her move whilst on the Doppler so I can hear it too xx

Really lovely isn't it? Think it will be a while before Al can feel her. I have the placenta and a bit of fat in the way

God this thread is so hard to keep on top of! Glad it's mainly food chatter since I was last here!!!

Had some amazing news tonight, some close friends have been approved for adoption, looks like they have already been matched up and will be hearing more this week! So glad they now know 100% they are going to be parents to not just 1 but 2 little ones!!!!!!

This made me very emotional putting B to bed tonight, with her perfect cuddles and the little noises she makes and sloppy kisses I really felt so lucky to have her cuddled up on my lap with baby no2 cuddled inside my tummy! X

Aw twinkles that's lovely news about your friends! Hopefully they won't have too long to wait :-)

And pix yeh reckon it will be a while til simon can feel it too. Can't wait though :-) xxx

Aw that's lovely twinkles :)

How do you know where your placenta is??

Midwife told me Ams :)

And twinkles, that is lovely news. We've had adoption appeals on the local new here recently, and if it weren't for the fact that our only spare bedroom is now going to be our LO's room, I'd have been on the phone! We may well yet adopt but need to move somewhere bigger first. Congrats to them!

Assume that mine isn't at the front then as she found HB super quick and didn't mention it?
