Thank you, I think its also because we've gone from no-one knowing to everyone knowing, from not being able to say anything to anyone to it being the only topic of conversation! The advice has started too! Have you all started to relax a bit more now?
 
I'm more relaxed than I was, but still have the odd panic when I get a cramp or sharp twinge!
Yep advice has been coming thick and fast since telling people... It's driving me crazy already!!! Xxx
 
Yup, I'm normally really placid, but finding it hard sometimes to bite my tongue! We're hoping to go with re-usable nappies after a free local 1 month trial of loads of different sorts but my sister in law completely told me I was mad because they can't be tumble dried (I'm sure they can) and they constantly leak. She means well, but still. I'm getting twinges and the odd cramp too, which I am not liking. Had my flu jab on Saturday and that's made me feel a bit rough - I neef half term lol xx
 
I was told not to have my jab till 20 weeks anyone else been told that? Sorry not been on in while girls with my two monkeys and thyroid levels cocking up I've been going to bed when kids have lol cx

Nope had mine at 14 weeks.
 
My MW told me to book mine and I had it that evening x

I love the idea of them and they look so cute! Not sure I could cope with the extra washing though. I haven't really had to endure much "advice" yet, I'm so clueless though I wouldn't know if it was good or not! Xx

I had my jab Saturday at 15+5. My mw said it was safe at any point in pregnancy, although they usually liked to wait until second tri. Xxx

Yeh I think parenting is one of those things where people have particular opinions and think that their way is the best way! Every child is different though :-)
I had my jab Saturday too and it's so sore! Swollen up a bit too xxx
 
Yeah, mine is quite red and swollen too, and itchy today too, plus my underarm glands went up yesterday, and they're quite sore. I was told to book it after my 12 week scan and there was a cancellation so I got in on Saturday. Xx

Nothing has been mentioned to me yet about flu jabs. Got my first consultant app on thurs though so maybe he will mention it?

Even though I've got hyperemesis I've been pretty chilled and not stressed so far in this pregnancy. I was so anxious in my first pregnancy, I was driving myself loopy, but think because C was grand I'm a lot more chilled this time which is so good for me lol

hi just checking in on how everyone is going, not been on the forum much the last few days i am have been so exhausted.
on the subject of the jabs i cant have the flu jab due to having an egg allergy and unfortunately the flu contains hens eggs. As for the whooping cough one not sure i will have that one either as nobody has been able to confirm if this one has eggs in it or not so better to be on the safe side and miss it out.
Anyway i will be 14wks tomorrow and i feel great apart from the exhaustion. i am just loving being pregnant, it feels amazing knowing i have a little person growing inside me

Michelle, your doctor will be able to offer you a flu vaccine that doesn't contain eggs. We offer it to everyone with an egg allergy xx
