Oooo I've booked a private scan for tomorrow at 10:15 really nervous now lol xx

I am still here! I am 11+4 and have my scan on Thursday when I will be exactly 12 weeks. Have been really nervous but bought a doppler and have found the babies heartbeat a couple of times, including yesterday which was very re-assuring. I haven't been on here in a while because I've had really bad MS. I'm on Stemetil still, and still throwing up about 3 times a day. Am worried as the midwife told me that on Thursday when I have my scan I also have to do an early fasting blood test where I can't eat for 12 hours before hand and then have to chug Lucozade. I told the midwife I had hyperemesis and was on medication and can't eat anything apart from pasta and crackers and have to eat crackers every 2 hours or I start being violently sick.. I also told her the only liquid I can drink is water and that Lucozade would make me sick. But she just kept saying it was important and didn't seem to care?! She did my urine test and that was negative for any sugar and I asked if we could put the test off for a few weeks until hopefully my MS eases off but she just said I had to try which I thought was a bit mean. Am worried now that not eating for 12 hours before hand is going to trigger me to keep being sick, then I will feel dizzy. and then the Lucozade will make me more sick. Its going to be a horrible day.

Awww hun I know how u feel I too have hyperemisis. Could you possibly speak to another midwife for advice or tell your me u need a bed to lie on whilst doing the test and if your sick iit's tough as you did warn them. I had the test around 20w with my last pregnancy xx

that's what I did 3lm. Saw the midwife last Monday and didn't have a scan date and wanted to tell people that weekend so had a private scan on the 2nd and then when I got home that day my scan appointment had come through! At least it means I get to see pip more

At least you don't have a long wait this morning (hopefully they will be running on time for you too) I'd had an early scan at 5 and 7 weeks but the 12 week scan last week was so amazing! Will be checking back herealot today to see how you get on.

Ooo I'm back! It was amazing baby is measuring 12w5d but need that confirming at the hospital on Monday. Baba was moving about and had a hb of 165 god I'm so in love lol and can finally relax thank god. Xxx

Amazing news 3lm! I got moved forward but waiting to see what they say tomorrow before I change my ticker - maybe with our altered dates will still be due date twins! Your bubs is clearly more chilled than mine - pip had a FHR of 207!
