Anyone else in their 40s?

Bfn this morning for me so either it's a dodgy test (local brand I've never heard of) or my body has decided this is the month my spotting will stop for the first time in 15 years and AF will come later today.

Could the level of hcg required be too high on the test? Could you get a CB Digi as they're normally really accurate from day period is due. You're not out yet hopefully AF stays away, I would love us to be bump buddies xx

So would I Yes, going to get a cb digi later as I got a result on that from day af due last time.

There is a link line on the test now but way past the time.

Lil I'm really sorry you're having such a hard time. I would take the tablets, surely it's got to be better than feeling like this? But I would also go back to get a referral for counselling. X

Thanks ladies. No, I don't feel AF is on the way, no boob soreness, no pmt rage, and most importantly no spotting. OH didn't believe it last night but then he didn't believe it last time til I went to the doc - they do a test to confirm pregnancy out here.

So I've just been to the doctor and I am pregnant

He found traces of blood and protein in the sample so I'm now in a complete panic that it's going to be a chemical...

Thanks so much Eryinera. Yes, he did say probable uti and has sent it off to the lab but of course I'm convinced the blood means I'm going to lose it...

A lot of people get spotting around af time each month when pregnant too. I did with my son. And a lady in my may mummies has had a lot of bleeding but all is OK x

Thank you x I know I need to calm down, it's just that september's miscarriage is so fresh. I know there are a few of you in May mummies that have had repeated miscarriages so I'm going to take hope from that X

Even still blood in the pee usually comes from your urinary system kidneys bladder etc.

Could you see it or not?

And protein is classic infection signs.

Oh yes there's a lot of us its strange how we are all on the journey together. In fact me and snowbee both lost at the same time last year too we were June mummies then. Last year I was worried I would give birth on my wedding day this year I have a good chance of giving birth on my anniversary (we postponed our 2nd wedding this time!)

Keep taking your folic acid. Does it hurt to pee? Miscarriage is so extremely hard I know! in fact my poem is probably still on here somewhere that stung me to the heart. So yea it's tough it's taken a while but I can see light at the end of the tunnel. a light at times I thought I'd never see. X x x

It is strange, must be nice to have the support, all being together.

It doesn't hurt to pee but I've been horribly dehydrated for over a week so I need to rectify that today.

I think it kept us sane! all having the same worries and fears I'm just so glad we all made tri 2 keep the fluids up especially now or you'll end up in a&e like me! If you need to talk anytime let me know x
