alone and in tears

i know its probably hormones but lee has gone out and left me alone for the evening.

i am worrying what i do if anything happens tonight etc. he has upset me abit cos didnt seem like he wanted me there at all. he even suggested me going to my dads rather than be on my own but didnt ask if i wanted to go at all.

now sat in tears had no dinner or anything.

im starting to really worry that he is regreting the whole baby thing and that he doesnt want either of us anymore. he has been really quiet and doesnt seem interested in anything. keep trying to tell him im tired and uncomfy or make hints saying hopefully not long now. all he says is oh he is comfy where he is.

feel really rubbish. sorry to be a misery. xxx

All I can say about your oh is, Im sure he's not regreeting the whole pregnancy thing, he's prob just being a typical man and 1) just not thinking lol or 2) just coping with the realisation that in a few days he's gonna be a daddy...not just have a pregnant missus but an actual daddy they have funny ways of dealing with things lol

Maybe he presumed you didnt want to go, men are funny creatures, you do have to sometimes ask directly.

Dont think he meant anything bad, but you should tell him you dont want to be left on your own as things can start any time! Half an hour is not that bad but you cant drive even if you have mild contractions.

Awww Just wanted to send you a big hug!! He won't be regretting baby, like the others said, guys seem to have funny ways of showing how their feeling etc and I think alot of the time they upset us without meaning too!

Why don't you explain to him how your feeling when he gets home? He probably hasn't realised that he's upset you. Try telling him that you just want him to be around for you especially with you being overdue and baby could arrive anytime! I wouldn't want to be alone at your stage either..

You should go have a nice bath and get those feet up for the night! Make sure you have something to eat too hun - or a nice takeaway Hope you're ok! xxx

I would say he has probably just assumed you would not want to go as he is well aware of the fact that you cannot get comfortable etc. He is not too far away should anything happen.

Have to admit I would prob be the same in that I would like to be asked and if I said no to going out I would want him to sit in with me! Lol sometimes us ladies are really hard to please!

Try not to get too annoyed hun, it really probably is just your hormones playing up x

Hey doll, I think genus probably consumed with the thought that in a few days he is going to be a dad. Responsibility maybe has hit. I think we have a good few Months of feeling baby, going through physical Changes maybe it has all just hit him. Its my husbands birthday today and I let him have a glass of wine (he hasn't been drinking the last week or so) and he was so grateful! My hubby isn't a big one fr sharing his thoughts and fears but he sometimes says things like "I hope we don't fuck it up" and "I wonder what life will be like"

Maybe they are just scared. We have the birth to concentrate on, they are probably thinking about he rest of ther lives...

I agree that he probably just thought that you wouldn't be comfy going out maybe.

My OH got a job contract this week and had to start the next day (its only for a week and he has to take what he gets as he was made redundant in Jan'11) and I've been used to him being around, so even though I've still 4.3wks to go, I was petrified that I would go into labour whilst he was at work and he only works 20 mins away! So I completely understand where you're coming from.

Hope you're feeling heaps better now and have been able to get a bit comfier and some rest. x
