a dot of red!!

Oh I don't know what to do! I am so so upset. My OH has had a massive arguement with me and I went to the loo and when I wiped there was a dot of red. I am so so scared!

I called EPAU and they have given me a scan appointment for monday morning! All weekend and the rest of the week being scared and worried! I had a horrible feeling something would not go right. I am so terrified that something will happen to my LO. I really really hope so so much it doesn't. But I am scared!

Fingers crossed it was just that, the one dot. Hope it stops soon hun. Maybe the stress of the argument caused a blood vessel to burst or something? Xxx

Maybe. I hope it is nothing and all is ok with the LO. I know I am still really early but I want this baby. I want him or her to be ok. Monday just seems like such a long time to wait.

Monday does seem like a long time to wait. Is there another nearby EPU you could try? If you get any more or get really anxious it might be worth calling back and hassling for a sooner appointment.

Its the only epu in the county. The mw said they won't scan before 6 weeks because it wouldn't tell me much and would make me more worried?! I am 5 weeks and 5 days

Oh ok, that makes more sense. It's usually 6-7 weeks to see the heartbeat on an ultrasound scan so they are right, there is not that much to be seen at that stage. Sit tight hun

I had 2 early scans last pregnancy due to bleeds. One at 4 weeks and one at 6 weeks. Saw the heartbeat at 6 weeks last time. These 5 days are going to drag. I am going to be anxious everytime I go to the toilet or get a twinge.

Oh no I hope its nothing to worry about if its just a dot and nothing else am sure it will be,this time last year wen I had my mc I had a lon wait due to bank holidays the scan place was so behind but that wait is horendous I feel for u lovely fingers crossed all is ok and take it easy (((hugs)))

Hi Flopsy, try not to work yourself up too much, great you have the scan date, shame you have to wait, but it will be so much more reassuring next week when you want to see the hb anyway,otherwise you would still worry.

Sounds like at 5 weeks 5 days, theres still going to be lots of nestling in going on in there and so you wil get tiny little bits, as long as it's not bright red and lots, then all should be well. I bleed with Devon all tri1 , browny old blood , every time I wiped, I was a wreck, but all was well. Good luck on monday, try to keep busy this week and it will fly
