Boosh my oh was exactly the same! We rowed so much sunday night i actually wanted to kill him!
:(
Xxxx

Awh no, sorry to hear you two are having trouble with your OH's. Boosh, so does he expect you to give him lifts everywhere then?! I would refuse. If he wants to go out getting drunk then he can find his own way there! xx

Ahh boosh/Claire boys sometimes don't quite get it do they?! Hope they pull their fingers out soon!

I chose not to go to the hospital last night as I had a kick and it's was gone 9, taking it easy today so hopefully the little blighted will liven up for me! Sure I'm worrying over nothing, I'm very hormonal too which doesn't help and spent the weekend painting...midwife said you might be over doing it a touch! Thank you for all beig so supportive, means so much having you all in the same boat!

Xxx

KWarbee - It's usually a case of we go somewhere together and I drive us there and he expects me to wait around for him till he's ready to come home - this has now changed and I have told him that wherever we go he needs to make sure he has money for a taxi coz I'm not waiting around to cart his drunk arse home! He seems to have accepted this but it still annoys me that he doesn't think 'oh it's 10pm maybe I should go home with her coz she's tired & I've been drinking since 3/4pm!!'

xx

Glad you've had some movement BonzE :) It's so hard not to overdo it when you're feeling fine, and it just hits you afterwards - we moved flats the weekend before Easter and as much as I felt like I was barely doing anything, packing a few boxes, I definitely felt it over the following week!

Sorry to hear your OHs are being a pain Claire and Boosh :( I was floored on Saturday when mine turned up with a bunch of flowers, shortly found out it was his mums suggestion but at least that's better than nothing..! Xx

Girls, health visitor is comin tomorrow afternoon...any idea on what to expect?

Also 28week bloods tomorrow morning...do I have to fast? X

Not sure on health visitor i have read somewhere it's just to introduce her/himself before baby arrives ?

As far as bloods I wasn't told to fast my appointment and its next Tuesday :)

:) well nobody from the hospital phoned today so I'm taking that as my glucose test was fine :)
OH in for his op next Wednesday fair to say I'm dreading it :(
Hows baby bonze anymore movements ?? Mines been quiet he seems to come awake at night time

Great news Angela!! About your test results!! Also hope that hubby's op goes well next week!!

I've not felt baby move over the last 2 days either, but I'm sure it must've done cos my tummy has gone from hard to soft to hard again! Bit worried though!! May ring midwife if nothing by tomorrow. Bonze did you book in the health visitor or did your midwife??xx

Thanks hun, I just hope they don't cancel it again we have heard of a few more people being canceled on right at the last minute :( doesn't help when DD wakes up and daddys not in bed let alone trying to explain he won't be back for bedtime :/
I think these babies just like us to worry but it's always best to check if you are worried it's what they are there for :)
My bed is calling me I think hope baby doesn't play bongos on my bladder again tonight ;(

Stoopid 1am  :shakehead:

I got my 28w midwife appointment in the morning too. Yay for super-stabby time... Bloods again, and anti D.

Awesome! :wall:

I never had HV come over before baby arrived?
No one's mentioned it this time either...?

Guessing that's also an area-thing.

Need sleep.

Keep well, folks :night: xx

Morning Ladies,

Hope you are all well today!
BonzE nothing has been said to me about the helath visitor coming before baby but it may be like Lacey said an area specific thing? How are the baby's movements now?

I have posted a new thread on here but thought I would share this:

I have just ordered one of these gorgeous pictures - I think it's a beautiful momento to have hanging in your home.

Take a look at http://www.thecraftycalf.co.uk/our-shop/prod_3075648-Baby-Ultrasound-Papercut-Frame.html

10% of the profits go to Count the Kicks charity as well so that's even better!

xx

Morning! No change, think I'm going to call midwife again, just want peace of mind now!

Angela hope the op does go ahead and to plan!!

I didn't think I'd get a visit before baby either but maybe an area thing!

My friend who lost her baby does beautiful hand made/designed memory pics, worth a look! Lovely for new baby/christening g/birthdays etc! http://www.loveyoudoodles.com she's a graphic designer and started doing this as she couldn't find anything to go in her little girls nursery. X

Bonze, hope the midwife can give you some reassurance. Keep us all updated x

Boosh, I love that picture, it's so gorgeous. I'm very tempted to buy one myself and even better that some of the cost goes towards Count the Kicks charity. I was thinking of buying one of their wristbands too.

Hope your 28w midwife appointment goes well today, Lacey.

Twinkle, how's baby's movements? Hope they've been wriggling for you!

27 weeks for me today and I'm officially in tri 3!! 3 months until our little girl is due. Exciting!! xx

I had a visit from a HV before baby arrived, to be honest it was like a check you out and check out your house kind of visit. She asked loads of personal questions to my husband about his job and was he likely to lose it unexpectedly etc very strange! I felt very invaded , hope yours isn't like that. When I asked my midwife why they have to come round she said it's because of an increase in missed child abuse so they like to get a feel of what your like and your home life is like before you have baby. X

Oooh, weird, Health Visitor rang me today to arrange a visit.
She's coming out next Wednesday. Had no idea she would be ringing or coming for a visit, she just said that the midwife passes details on to them and they come and say hello.

Any news Bonze? You getting any more movements?

Glad you didn't hear back from the hospital Angela :)

So, after drinking a can of coke (yuck) and lying on my left for 2hours baby moved 10times (required amount) since that it's really picked up! Phew! Thank you for all the support!

HV...nice lady, complete push over so if there was anything going on I wonder if she would notice! Didn't lol round the house, asked the questions on the form to me and hubby (finances, external support, sleeping arrangements, smoker etc) all 1-5 answers. Have us some info on cot death and breast feeding and left! House is spotless and she didn't care on bit! Did ask if we had any debt but that's about as intrusive as it got!

Lacey how did your 28week app go??

Are you all ok? X

Woo! So glad baby stopped being such a lazy bum Bonze!

HV can be as intrusive as she likes with me, no issues at all lurking in this house, phew.x

Same! I think if you have nothing to hide it's no issue and they are only there to look out for both mum and bub so I'm
All for that! X
