_>•~*X*~July 2015 Mummies-to-be!!!~*X*~•<_

Hi everyone,

Thanks Lola. We're very tempted to buy the Harrow set. I'm just really put off by the lack of reviews online for it, but Mamas and Papas are usually decent, aren't they? We're just worried that we might order it and when it arrives we might dislike it for whatever reason. It would then be too late to make the most of the Easter sales  can't decide what to do but we need to make a decision fast as I think the Argos baby event ends today.

Sorry to hear that some of you are struggling with sleep. Have you all got pregnancy pillows? Mine didn't do anything for me but I've heard they've been great for others. I sometimes wake up with cramp in my leg or hip pain but mostly still ok with sleep luckily.

Can't believe we're almost in tri 3  where has the time gone?!

We've had our pram at ours in its box since January/early Feb. Probably should check it out soon!

Crawkay, I'm the same, I thought I was noticing a pattern too but now it's just an increase in movement and strength. She moves the most when I'm sat quiet/still so usually when I'm at my desk at work or lazing around at home!

Laura, happy 26 weeks!! :)

xx

Anyone heard from lacey? Or have i just missed her posts? Hope your all okay - tri3 in like 2.5 weeks :) eeeekkk. My pram is in ohs dads loft. I will get the carseat from them and then will send oh round on due date or maybe once baby is born to get it! Not sure.
Hope your all well.

Had my first session yesterday with that bloody councellor my midwife referred me too. She diagnosed me with moderate depression and moderate - severe anxiety. Arnt we all anxious? She was asked really messed up questions which annoyed me as i kept telling her its allllllll baby related. Yes im shit scared somethings going to happen to it - isnt every new mum to be?especially when its baby #1, and especially when it took 3years to concieve. She tried linking it to my past whixh is bollocks!!!!
Made me feel abit mental - which i know im not - im just scared! So will be putting her straight next time!!!!!
Lovely and sunny here today - and im off work for the week. :)

Spent all last night sat/led on the sofa watching my belly move. Even caught some on film. Could do it all day!
Have a good day birds xxxxxxx

26 weeks today eeeekkk 1 week till tri 3 ahhhh scary
Thanks Kwarbee

Hope all you ladies are well

I'm still deaf in my left ear but no pain so that's good

Baby went crazy last night wouldn't stop moving and kicking for about 30 mins
You can see the skin move and ripple now strong little lady :)

How's everyone feeling? X

We went for the maxi cosi pebble plus, safe and simple?! Just been to the white company discount sale at a local event place...hell on earth! Got some great bargains though! X x

Haven't heard from Lacey in a while. Hope she's ok and enjoying her time away from work with her little boy.

Sorry to hear your first session with the counsellor didn't go too well, Claire. It's difficult as you're right; pregnancy is an anxious time and we're all worried about various things. I would just try see it as additional support but if you're really not keen and not comfortable with the idea then maybe say something to your midwife. I would've thought you should be coming away feeling reassured. I would definitely say something next time :)

Hope you get your hearing back soon, Laura! Good to hear that you're not in pain with it still though.

xx

Haven't seen anything from Lacey. I suspect she has moved on to sewing a duvet set and got lost inside it or something... ;)

Claire, very sorry to hear you didn't have a great expeirence. As was said above, You'd hope to come away from a session feeling helped in some way. I wonder if it would be any different with a different counsellor? Perhaps ask your midwife if that one is the only option as you didn't get on, and ask to see how she was briefed?

I had similar worries about the lack of reviews on the Harrow set KWarbee. Am pleased with what we've seen of it so far though so fingers crossed!

Ooooh Pebble Plus is the one my OH has picked out BonzE. Haven't seen it in the flesh yet though- does it seem OK?

Sorry to hear about your session Claire. I definitely think you should talk to them if you're feeling like its not going to be useful. It seems like you were referred without even wanting to be referred anyway and bringing up things that you're not comfortable with doesn't sound like a great start. Hope it gets sorted for you and you enjoy your week off xxx

Just sitting in a car park eating a Burger King after a 12 hour shift with no break. Feeling guilty as not eating well at the mo but takes me an hour to drive home and OH is working away so was not keen on starting to cook dinner at 9pm. Oh well, hopefully baby likes burgers :-) xxx

Claire, sorry I missed your post, didn't mean to seem insensitive! I think the girls are right and maybe chatting to a midwife (could you see another not the one that refered you) and just talk through where you're at and that you don't find the sessions helpful? I'm shitting myself about becoming. A mother, I'm scared of hurting it, forgetting something, getting it wrong it coming between me and hubby, my friends my parents...the list goes on! You're not alone lovely big hug xx

Love the car seat, looks good and has great reviews...hubby did the safety research!

Xx

Sorry things didn't go too well Claire. Hope over time you can gain a bit of support from the sessions rather than just coming away annoyed.

The idea of Lacey getting lost in a duvet made me smile Loretta
Hope she's ok though.

Anyone watching OBEM? A woman has called her last 2 kids Jet Li and Thierry Henry! Newest one is Elektra. Each to their own and all that but dear me!

Crawkay, yes I'm watching. Not sure about labouring with sunnies on... :/

I know! She looked like she was going to suffocate with the choker on!!

Also sorry Claire missed your Post sorry it didn't go well hun hope it gets better next time for you

One born is very strange this time round I just can't seem to get into or enjoy it like I did the Bristol ones

I'm watching on plus 1 :) x

Had 25 week midwife appointment this morning.
Measuring spot on and heard heartbeat again :)
Heartbeat was 145bpm which according to the old wives tales indicates girl....it's weird not knowing if it's a boy or girl now, I'm still convinced it's a boy hiding in there though.

Have my anti d appointment booked and also sorted out a dentist appointment for tomorrow as my gums are really quite sore at the minute, anyone else struggling with that sort of thing?x

Crawkay glad all was well, mine is next wednesday for my 28weeks although Ill only be 26...!! Unfortunately I havent had any gum issues which surprised both me and my hygienist as my teeth and gums are so week and prone to infection etc..yuck! she said if they flare up to floss daily...really important and to use peroxil mouth wash. Hope it clears up soon xx

So just had my bloods done and there is a scan form waiting for me at reception but the receptionist and nurse taking blood don't know what it's about. A bit anxious as last time babies tummy was measuring a little bigger than normal.

Also had heart ultrasound thing this morning (busy day) so now awaiting results!

Hope you are all having a good day? Feel like my pregnancy has hit a lull, not getting bigger, no big milestones!x

Hi ladies,

Had a busy day at work so haven't been able to pop in here today. Feeling very tired today :nap:

I watched OBEM last night and I agree with you, Laura. I'm just not enjoying it as much this series, not sure why. I was a little bored last night which I never am with OBEM. I think they focus a bit too much on their stories before and their birthing partners.

Crawkay, glad your 25 week appointment went well :) I have mine tomorrow. Looking forward to hearing baby's heartbeat and I hope bump is measuring about right. I feel huge for 25 weeks though.

I've not had problems with my gums but I've heard how common it is. Hope the dentist can help with a solution for you x

Bonze, I'd be tempted to call my midwife and/or the antenatal clinic to ask about the scan form. I'm sure everything is fine but it's always more worrying when you don't have a clue what's going on, especially when the staff don't either!

xx

Crawkay, I also had my 25 weeks appt this morning and babys heartbeat is 140, even though it is a boy:))) so not sure if all the old wife tales work!

Happy 25 weeks Kwarbee, your ticker saying baby is the size of a cauliflower shocked me a bit, that's big!
Hope your appointment goes well. Your bump may well just be bigger due to your height. Midwife said I was lucky being tall as it meant it takes longer for bump to start interfering with everyday tasks.

Hope your appointment was all good Ingridika.

How come your appointments are a couple of weeks ahead of themselves Bonze?
I'd definitely want to know about the scan too, hope you find out.x

Ok, this is getting silly, there is now a December thread in tri 1!
DECEMBER!
We'll be into 2016 soon, time is flying, eeek!!
