Cold water is the best thing for blood and better before it's dried. X

Thanks hun, I've done my best with cold water and a little detergent and it wouldn't quite have dried yet, but it seems pretty stubborn.. At least the stain has come out of the cover so I suppose the cushion itself doesn't quite matter so much..! Oops. Oh the joys of boarding work!

Catching up on the thread - woohoo to upcoming V-days!! Blimey those have come around quickly! Laura I hope your little one is feeling better soon, poor thing. xx

AnotherYou - best thing I've found to get blood out is cold salty water, dissolve 2 tsp of salt in cold water & apply! It should get it out x

I always thought Vday was 27 weeks-is it 24 weeks?? Oh Laura sounds terrible I hope he gets better soon-conjunctivitis is a b*stard!! Hope everyone is doing well as it's been very quiet this weekend!! I had the most terrible nights sleep. Constantly waking with either heartburn or desperate for the toilet! Normally my heartburn would go away after taking Rennie, but it was really bad last night. It's not even like I had anything that usually causes it. Homemade chicken Kiev, chips and salad!! Don't think the cat was very impressed cos I kept waking her up too!! Haha. I seriously believe my body is getting me ready for the inevitable!!x

"V-Day" is when you turn 24 weeks.

If you give birth at 23 weeks, unless there is VERY good reason to intervene and help, doctors will let nature take it's course.

If you give birth once you hit 24 weeks (your "viable" day), doctors will do everything possible to help your teeny preemie fight for life.

Whilst there are some local differences, 24w is the general "help no matter where you are" time.

Laura, I hope your poor dear boy gets better soon :(

It's been a very quiet weekend, huh... Hope everyone's okay xx

All good here, quiet weekend at mum and dads as hubby is away and have to be babysat at the moment!

Had a weird dream...had the baby which I delivered myself...was living in a caravan and kept forgetting to feed it or that it was in it's noses basket...still loved it but so awful!!

Had a spree yesterday, only clothes, I really need to start getting some practical stuff...like a pram! Xx

Eww, I've got clear stuff dripping from my nipples today  Anyone else? Is this normal!? x

Totally normal, hon, and a good sign if you're planning on breast feeding as it's showing everything's getting ready for you xx

Hope everyone is having a nice weekend.

I've had a busy one with friends staying over and I'm feeling soo tired now.

Laura, how is your little boy doing?

So exciting that some of us are nearly at V-day! I don't reach mine for another 10 days but time really is flying at the moment so it'll be here before I know it.

Hope you're all well xx

CTD totally normal hun I'm surprised I haven't started leaking yet I think last pregnancy it started for me about 20 weeks

Hey everyone. Hope you've all had nice weekends! Hope everyone who's been having pain/ difficulty sleeping is feeling a bit better. And hope your little one feels better soon Laura xxx

Congrats on your little boy Mrs Olly :-) So exciting that V day is approaching for everybody. Massive milestone!

I've been so hormonal and tearful today. Cried over an egg custard tart, haha! Finally found a dress that fits and looks nice for my niece's christening though so that cheered me up. Good old ASOS :-) xxx

Laura I hope the docs help tomorrow, poor thing, you must be knackered too. X

My boy is back tonight! So glad to be home and back in my own bed, mum and dad have been axing but nothing like you're own home!

Hope you are all ok, I think it's a bit quiet as less is happening, we will all be having 24week midwife checks soon! I feel I have hit a lul!!

X

Evening all very tired tonight had a day out at the farm with DD she had so much fun hehe.
Hoping to get a good nights sleep with no heartburn it's killing me :( also trips to the loo get comfy and then off to the loo very annoying.
Oh the plus last night laying in bed I had my first proper kick I actually seen my belly move hehhe been waiting ages for it to happen :)

Hi all. Been keeping myself busy. Nothing major to report, just steadily growing and starting to spot patterns of movement. Feel good though, which I'm pleased about.
Work's mental, so not really looking forward to this week, but will get through it.
Here's hoping for a few weeks of plain sailing for us all, to get us through to next midwife chats.
x

Thanks bonze :) Yep totally shattered too could of fell asleep about 10am this morning hoping for more sleep tonight just off to bed now

I unfortunately won't be having a 24 week appointment the midwife doesn't see you as often with your second so my next appointment isn't until 28 weeks long time yet :( still not heard babies heartbeat with midwife yet either :(

Glad to hear you have seen a proper kick Angela
Fab aren't they :) this little one is very strong already likes to kick my lo if there sat too close or pressing on my tummy lol

Have a good night all wish me luck on some sleep tonight :) x
