Yeah. I know what v-day is. I just thought it was later on in pregnancy!! Good to know although fingers crossed we all go to full term with beautiful healthy babies. My friend had her baby at 27 weeks and she's gorgeous!! She's 2 this month!!

Leaky nipples. That sounds interesting-pregnancy is so glamorous!! Funny story about them though... I bought some nipple pads the other day. I also ordered a present for my friend both from amazon. They both arrived at work on the same day. I stupidly thought that the bigger box would be her prezzy as it was about the size of a shoe box,so made the assumption it was hers. Put a ribbon around it (as I didn't have any wrapping paper at school). She opened it to find nipple pads-don't think she was impressed. Good job she didn't open it in front of the children. She did look at me a little funny when she took it out the box. We had a good giggle about it!! :-D

Great story twinkle toes, think you and your friend will be laughing about that for a while!

Busy weekend here, went to baby show on sat, which was good. Specifically wanted to find out about slings and change bags. Got these just in time for a demo of different slings. I had a go with a stretchy wrap which I thought I'd never get on with, but it was amazing. Really easy to out on and so comfy. Ordered one there as had 10% off in the show.

Then looked at bags and got a mai tui Amelia bag for £55 including pram straps and a second smaller handbag for free. Great deal, much cheaper than Amazon and it as a great bag with loads of space and doesn't look like a nappy an either.

I also got a snuggle bundl which you will have to google its basically a light weight blanket with handles so if lo falls asleep in car seat/shopping trolley/wherever you can lift them up into your arms without disturbing them and waking them up. Really hard to describe, but seems like a nifty idea. I was a bit unsure as though it might be a bit of a gimmick, so my best friend who came with !e bought it for me as a present.

So I've now started and finished all the shopping I'll be doing for this lo for now. Might need more furniture for his bedroom further down the line, but want to get settled into new house before even thinking about that stuff.

To I which sling did you get? I really want a fabric one for at home but unsure which to get! Have an ergo carrier for hubby and out!

Also I have a snuggle bundle...brilliant invention! X

BonzE I got the ByKay jersey original wrap - just a massive piece of thick jersey fabric, but with good strong hems. You think it will be really complicated at first, but after watching a couple of demos it was really easy to do. Obviously I only got to test it out on a weighted doll, so a wriggly baby might be a bit harder, but as this is my second I won't be so scared of breaking him as I would have been with my first! When I had it on it was so comfy and felt so natural, can't wait to try it out with the real thing!

I'm undecided on whether to get a sling but I do like the sound of the snuggle bundl :)

Hope everyone is feeling well today xx

kwarbee I'm going for a sling for round the house, walking to my mums etc! the carrier we got was more 'manly' for my hubby...his words not mine! x

I've heard they're really useful, I think it was Lacey who was saying she loves having one. I'm definitely tempted, I think it would be handy for around the house in particular.

Thought I'd share my most recent bump picture (22+3) on here. We were in the supermarket on Saturday and I spotted a papaya. Couldn't resist taking a picture! So for anyone that is around the 22 week mark at the moment, this is approximately how big your little one is :)

xx

Yeah, it was Lacey :)

This is the one I've got this time around. Already been teddy-tested and it feels just as comfy as my old one.

Well worth their weight in gold, I think. They're so freaky handy, and cute with a lil baby all snuggled away in there

Great bumpy K :)

I've definitely popped over the last couple weeks. Just need winter to hurry up an do one cause my coat's gettin TIGHT. Xx

I have bump envy! Feel small and keep getting told I look small...great for the nerves....

Hi ladies quick drop in before I head back to bed with little one
He had an awful night coughing he woke up at 4am coughing almost choking we rushed him in to the bathroom where he was shaking all over he was straining to cough so much
He ended up bursting a blood vessel in his eye it was awful
Been to doctors and everything is clear so down to it being viral and to basically ride it out
The conjunctivitis is still present also but nothing can be done for that either could take up to 2 weeks to clear

I'm exhausted :(
Also broke my monitor really kicking myself
Was going to buy a new one as it had stopped charging already

So ladies can you share with me what monitors you might be buying and why?
I haven't got a clue which one to go for video or just movement pad
Anyone recommend a good one?

Hope your all ok
Fab bump Kwarbee :) x

Oh Laura, your poor little guy. Sounds like he's really suffering! Poor thing. Wishing him a speedy recovery! Definitely sounds like you need some rest too.

Thanks ladies, I feel rather big for how many weeks I am and someone asked me today if I am nearly due

We're having the monitor debate at the moment and I think we have decided to get a video and sensor monitor. At the moment it's between the Motorola MBP26 Digital Video Monitor Babysense Bundle (cheapest on Amazon) and the Tommee Tippee Closer to Nature Video Monitor (half price on Asda Direct!).

xx

Bump envy over here too
I did lie on the sofa and watch my tummy move yesterday with the kicks though, mental!

We've gone for the Tommee Tippee video and sensor monitor too, had everythingwe wanted (sensor was my main concern) and it was in the Asda half price deal. Great bundle for £90 I think.

Carpet going down in baby's room on Wed, eek! It's all getting a lot more real.x

That was me yesterday.
She's definitely popped.

Laura I really hope your poor lil boy feels better soon.
Unfortunately there's sooo much stupid cold around at the moment.
Urgh. Xx

Wowee, that's impressive!

A Next maternity catalogue has been delivered to the house under OH's name, weird.x

Haha Crawkay maybe he's preparing or learning what you might need?!!!

Lacey that is impressive!

Laura I really hope your little one gets better soon, look after you too! Xx

We went for the angel care pad monitor, no video, figure if the mat off if be running to check anyway?! Correct me if I'm wrong through girls! Was £60 down from £100 and hubb was happy with it! Not really understood why one would need a video? Xx

Originally I didn't want a video monitor as I thought it would be a bit distracting. Like I'd be sitting watching it instead of the tv all night.
Decided to go with the Tommee Tippee though as it was a really good deal and people said videos are handy for when they're a bit older too, keep an eye on them once they're wriggling around a bit. It can be turned off too.x

Just swinging in quickly - had a horrific weekend :( OH has been a nob! Ive got an ear infection and suffering with that as cant give normal prescription and got really bad lower abdominal cramps this eve so trying to soothe in bed with heat pads. Im roasting! Hope your all okay xxx

Oh gawd! Claire hope you fell better soon, try not to worry re cramps, lots of stretching going on! Here if you want to share OH being a knob! My hubby has been a bit of a knob of late too!! Hugs xx

Hey ladies, been AWOL for a few days due to rubbish shifts all weekend :( It's resulted in me feeling absolutely exhausted. Looking foward to my day off tomorow. I was sick this morning when I got up, I think it's down to the heartburn Iv started to suffer with. Not very enjoyable at all!! Also starting to get uncomfortable at night now, so think I'm going to have to invest in a pillow. Any recommendations??

Laura, sorry to hear your little one isn't better yet, hopefully he is on the mend soon! And sorry you're suffering Claire, hope you feel better soon!

Lacey & KWarbee, your bumps are looking FAB! This was me at 19 weeks xx

Wowza, that's a bump and a half for 19 weeks! Is this your first?

I just have a long body pillow that was half price in Argos a couple of weeks ago, £6.99, does the job.

Sorry about all the knobs! Men can be right fannies at times.x
