Congrats on scan twinkle and well done for staying team yellow!

Lexiedust congratulations on your baby girl and welcome back to the forum!

I have had a crap couple of days. Went to the doctor as fainted twice on Tuesday and it turns out I have a heart mumur. Not really sure what that means but seeing a cardiologist and having an ultrasound next week. I'm pretty upbeat and figure there is no point in worrying until told to worry! Also apart from fainting I feel fine!

Baby still wriggling and doing big shopping this weekend which I'm really looking forward to!

Hope you're all ok and getting a bit more sleep? Ironically I slept well last night! X

Bonze - Keep us posted, and you are right you should only worry when you must! But I know easier said....

Morning everyone,

Bonze, I had the same thing as a child. I fainted a couple of times and they did lots of checks on me and found that I had a heart murmur. It's something to do with an extra noise that your heart makes when it beats, or something like that! Not usually anything to worry about, mine went all on its own, but it's good they're looking after you. I got an extra fetal medicine midwife appointment because of it so they will follow you up I would've thought.

Welcome back to the forum Lexiedust and huge congratulations on joining team pink! You must be having a very different pregnancy experience to us out there in Africa!

CTD, all the best for your scan today :) Hope all goes well.

Twinkletoes, glad to hear your scan went well. Well done on staying team yellow too!

I had a GP appointment this morning as I have a mole on my lower stomach which I thought had changed recently. It's always been a bit odd looking in shape and colour but has been there for as long as I can remember. I thought I'd get it checked out just in case. GP looked at it under a fancy microscope and said it looked regular in its irregular shape :oooo: and that she'd be very surprised if it was anything malicious. She wants to check again in two weeks but didn't seem worried. Doesn't stop me worrying though!

Hope you're all well.

xx

Thank you ladies, Kwarbee it's nice hear yours fixed itself!

I had a mole removed wasn't dodgy in the end just looked it, I think hormones can change everything! X

I did the dreaded Google search yesterday and after sifting through all the horror stories about moles I did read a few stories about moles being removed and some of those during pregnancy. Most are benign. I think it's definitely a mix of hormones and the fact it's on my stomach so the skin has already stretched slightly and therefore changed it's appearance xx

I like it! I also think that's good value, some are £100plus! Very stylish and not too girly! Xx

I know  I saw some for £180 and was shocked. But I'm not really a bag kind of person, I only own one so I have no idea when it comes to price. I like it for that reason :) it's quite pretty but not too girly at all xx

I'm not a girly girl at all and am all about design/style over pretty and practical...crap with a baby I'm sure! Bags can be serious money! I like it, I haven't even started looking at bags yet! X

Scan done, everything lovely :)
Placenta is slightly low so I have to have another scan at 32 weeks to see if it's moved. Sonographer said it was only a teeny bit low though and she was almost certain it would be fine by next scan.

Stayed team yellow but guesses welcome (obviously no nub to work with, that makes me think it's a boy and that's why she didn't give us a pic of that area)

Awh Crawkay, I'm glad to hear everything went well with your scan. Lovely picture, your little one looks very cute. I would guess a boy!

My placenta is a little low too so I'll need a scan at 32 weeks as well, not too worried, at least we get to see baby again! xx

Thanks girls.
Isn't it mad seeing a proper little person wriggling around in you? I love it. We could see it's little mouth opening and closing.

Celebrated by getting bits of bedroom stuff for 20% off at Mamas and Papas.x

I loved it when the sonographer was trying to measure baby's head and you could just see this little hand wriggling about and getting in the way :)

It's lovely.

xx

The maternity unit & midwifes are gunna be fed up with me come 40weeks. Got an appt at maternity unir as not only the issues i explained yesterday today have got excruciating pains that are more intense with doing anything.......getting up, sitting down, going to the loo - called unit and they said could be anything - baby lying on nerve, water infection, could be to do with the SPD but thinks the tightening and electric shock type pain i described is braxton hicks! I thought u didnt get them till like 30weeks+. So going in to be checked over as she was lovely and said she would hate to have to wait a week till scan so go in and shell chexk me and baby over. MIL is coming with me so she can hear heartbeat as OH is at work and i dont want to panic him. Will be nice for her to hear -will update you all when im back.
Crawkey -glad your scan was all good :)
xxxx

Hope it goes well at the maternity unit Claire and they can give you some answers and relief xx
