It was my scan today too

So glad to hear your scans went well. Bonze, well done on staying team yellow!! Lacey, congratulations and welcome to team pink! And Angela, huge congratulations on team blue!

Baby is still a girl! She is doing well, all checks were fine and in the normal range. The sonographer said she is stubborn and dramatic. I think she might take after her mother already!! She didn't really want to cooperate with the sonographer and at one point put her hand to head as if to say 'oh, leave me be, this is far too much effort!'.
My placenta is a little low so I need a scan again at 32 weeks.

I was so glad that we'd found out she was a girl at 16 weeks. The sonographer was lovely today but (after checking we wanted to know) she just said 'it's a girl' whilst doing all the other checks without much emotion or enthusiasm. When we found out at 16 weeks the whole scan was for that purpose and it was really special.

Just so happy that all the checks were fine!

That's lovely it's a shame when they are so blasé about one of the biggest moments of your life. Glad all your checks went well and baby is coming along nicely! My 20week scan is 3 weeks on Thursday, sooooo glad I found out at 16 weeks as I cannot wait that long lol just can't wait to see him again now!! Xx

I know, I think they forget sometimes that something that seems everyday to them is so amazing to the couples they see. She was nice otherwise though.

I couldn't have waited the 4 weeks either! The next 3 weeks will fly by, they did for me xx
