Hey ladies! Hope your all well! Just heard baby's heart beat for the first time! Popped into my mums work when she had a wee gap between patients and she had a listen in! Could listen to it all day. Been feeling flutters for the last few weeks but definately felt my first wee kick last night at 17+2. Was about the same in my last pregnancy as well. 2 weeks on Friday until 20 week scan. Can't wait xxx

Everything went well today and we're expecting a BOY

Oh before I forget have any of you or know if you have to have a glucose intolerant test unfortunately I do as my mam has recently got type 2 diabetes
not looking forward to it

I had two tests done in my first pregnancy hun
Nothing bad really no food or drink when you wake up get to doctors have a blood test then drink so many ml of lucozade then wait 2 hours I think it is then another blood test
I was lucky and didn't have genestational diabetes
Hope yours goes smoothly and comes back clear too hun x

Laura that's a relief my app is 2 April I have to have nothing from 10pm no rennies (it will kill me I'm suffering lol) also just a few sips of water my app is 9:20 they say I have a blood test a drink then back 2 hours later for more blood tests :/ not a fan of the needle any other needle I'm fine with just something about needles and veins and I cringe haha.

Twinkletoes good luck for your scan can't wait to find out if our due date will have two boys or a boy and a girl on it

I asked about bounty packs she didn't have any but she did say our closer hospital may have them so we're off shopping tomorrow so I will pop in lol she did also say make my midwife get me one as she should of hmmmm

We're not finding out Angela. We made a pact at the beginning not to find out. Just makes me want to with everyone talking about what they're having. Even when we were TTC we discussed the fact that neither of us would want to know. Can't wait until July when we can find out!!! I've got my voucher to pick up bounty pack from boots,so I'm gonna do that tomorrow!! Pretty sure I've been feeling LO tonight,like random bubbles popping really low down in my pelvis! I hope so!!xx

Oh wow I'd of loved to not find out but I just couldn't I had to know.
It will be extra special for you an extra surprise bet you can't wait time seems to be flying over
ive had bubbles this baby is very very quiet poor lady who did my scan he just wouldn't move where she wanted him to, where as my DD was very active.
Wish I could find a remedy for this heartburn it's killing me.
Oh our boots only had one of the Emma's diary packs in which was the last one i have tried another boots they also had non so if all else fails I will be going to argos

Good luck for scans today ladies!!!

I use Rennie and seems to ease it almost instantly-might possibly by psychological though :-D seems to do the trick though as I've been getting it quite bad recently!!

Can't wait to find out though. Both oh and I are convinced it's a boy,so it'll probably be a girl now! We have both had really vivid dreams about it being a girl. I'm happy either way as long as he/she is happy and healthy!! It's gonna be the most amazing surprise. Xxx

So....we are...

Having a surprise! Didn't cave which was hard at one point but chuffed I didn't ask! Baby is doing well, slightly larger tummy and apparently that can be due to my body not processing sugar; laying off the only thing I crave...fruit!

So excited, so the shopping begins!!
