Congrats on 2 gorgeous girls and an active little boy ladies! Amazing!!

We have spent the last few days finally spilling the beans to family and friends, it’s been amazing but very surreal as I really just never thought I’d ever get to tell people we are having a baby, it’s bloody wonderful :D xx

Yay bumps! I hope mine stays the same for a while because I look way further ahead haha I'll check the link

Thanks ladies, was a little worried I’d be disappointed as I’d hoped for a girl, but not at all. Just happy to be having a baby when I’d actually resigned myself to not having children.

Lovely bumps CG and Netty!

Ahhh so lovely to see all these colours coming through..
I'm a little jealous we're not finding out, although I know I'd just be disappointed if I did haha

Me too - I’m getting more and more tempted to find out!

15 weeks today bump pic :)

ah you have a stunning figure KJ1 !

I am all tits and ass

Naww thanks Nets, you're too kind! Tits and ass are always a winner ;)

The further along I'm getting the more I'm thinking finding out what we're having would make life a wholeeeee lot easier. I'm in two minds but still have 6.5 weeks until my 20 week scan so I've got time to make up my mind.

We did some pram research and shopping/testing this weekend, I think we've decided on the iCandy peach.

Oooh I am getting very excited by all these gender scan results! So much so that a 6am this morning I joined one of those Facebook 'nub and skull gender prediction' groups and uploaded our scan photo. Unanimous BOY which is what I was thinking I was having, haha! Kinda hoped that there would be some debate about it, but alas. Maybe the theories will be proved wrong at the 20 week scan but I highly doubt it

They were the same with me and were proven correct. They’re pretty accurate from what I’ve seen the past 2 weeks.

Does anyone know if it’s safe to use hair dye through pregnancy? I’m noticing grey hair now I’m pregnant  but I’m a bit wary of using a box dye. Worse case scenario I’ll deal with it after baby is born to be safe, but just wondered if anyone knew?

What a flipping palava today.

Stitch in my side turned into mad hip pain which then started to spread upto my shoulder and now it's agonising and kept me up from 3-am

Struggled to work with the pain getting worse

Rang mw she said she can't help go to gp (all I wanted was advice on fucking ligament pain) I said I'll never get in to see gp for at least 2 weeks so she said call 111

Called 111 they asked me what my BP was like. I took it three times at work ( we have a machine) and it averaged at 160/80 which isn't particularly fab....111 tell me to go to hospital as shoulder pain is linked to pre eclampsia

I call the hospital and speak to the community mw team....they are less concerned and book me in to see a local mw

She sees me and everything IS FINE

it's most likely a trapped nerve and bp altho on the high side isn't worrying and pre eclampsia at 14 weeks is very very rare.

So now I'm sat eating chicken nuggets and a banana milkshake from McDonald's fuming at the waste of my afternoon FML

Oh no! Glad you’re ok, but that is infuriating. I went along for my consultant appointment today to be told “sorry your midwife booked it for tomorrow, but wrote down Tuesday by mistake. See you tomorrow” argh :wall2:

Just such a run around driving all over Sheffield for some advice I could have gotten from my mw initially!

Re the hairdye I am not too sure babywomble maybe patch test first?

Babywomble, I’m pretty sure hair dye is fine during pregnancy :)

Kj1, good choice! I’ve got the icandy peach, it’s been used daily for almost 4 years, including a stint in double mode, and is still going strong ready for number three!

Netty, what a nightmare! Glad all turned out ok in the end though. I always find mws/drs etc are either really over cautious or just not bothered at all!

I still can’t believe we’re having another girl! I’ve dragged all the baby clothes out the garage this morning and sorted through how much of everything we’ve got. There’s plenty to see us through, but I feel sad at the thought of her only having hand me downs. I know it’s daft, especially as most of it is in perfect condition still, but I want her to have some of her own so think I’ll pick out the best bits, and get a few new babygros, just so she looks different in photos lol. Sounds totally ridiculous now I’m writing it down :/ xxx

I’ll add my bump photo too :)

What a nightmare of a day, Netty. But, all's well that end's well...in McDonalds :)

Babywomble - I've been dying my hair during pregnancy, I just do a patch test each time (even though using the same dye) just to make sure I haven't developed an allergy as I have noticed my skin being a bit more sensitive. Not had any issues with it though. Interesting what you say about the nub group. It's been my instinct from the start that it's a boy. I'd prefer a girl but ultimately I really don't mind, just want a healthy babba.

I'm going to post my first bump pic. It looks a bit pathetic - it's my 'morning bump' - but by the end of the day it will have inflated loads. I'm finding bloating a real problem, not just my tummy but legs and waist, by the evenings I am feeling very heavy and uncomfortable.

Morning bump at 15+2. Excuse grumpy-looking cat in background - he wanted his breakfast

I also believe hair dye is fine as long as you're not sniffing the fumes! :)

Netty that definitely sounds like a stressful day! :( The extra stress and worry just isn't needed.

Wow to all the beautiful bumps. I find it so fascinating how different we all are at the same stage. You'd have thought I was HUGE by the comments I get at work. The most recent one was this exchange with a delivery man:
Delivery man "You look like you're due any day now!"
Me "No?"
Delivery man "Ah, then twins is it?"
Me "No! I'm clearly just fat!"
