worried i could be in labour and im on my own!!

OH is on a night shift till 8am
all day i have been having period type pains and just felt abit under the weather. when i saw the midwife today as she was feeling baby she said she could feel contractions didnt think anything of it and put it down to braxton hicks!!

since 7ish the periods pains have got alot more painful and into my back as well and an odd pain in my bum have tired a bath and going to bed to get some sleep but its just too uncomfortable the pains are coming and going every 10/15mins.

you would think after 2 children i would know what to do etc but it was so long ago i feel like a first timer!! when should i ring someone and how often to they need to be coming for it too be labour??

And I would call when they are 5 mins apart - tell them they are 3 mins apart though to allow yourself extra time. Xx

Hope your ok Hun! I left my labour abit to long. Contractions were every 4-6mins but I could bearly walk!! Like annie said, give mw a ring when their every 5mins x x

thanks lovely sorry havnt got back to you just got out the bath!!

dont really know whats going on from about 1am-3am the pains were coming every 5mins and last about a min was having to walk around and breath though the pain. managed to drop off to sleep for abit but waking up often with the pain!! woke up at 6am and the pains have gone slightly not coming as often but still there and very much in my back
so not sure if its a false alarm? or slow labour? i suppose i will just have to see how its goes over the day

thanks for all your lovely message been trying to nod off now and again just incase this is it OH is home now till monday which is a relief xx

this 3rd ones as def been a little pain already in a nice way!! pains are still coming and quite painful im thinking im going to have a slow labour been feeling tired all day and then had a burst of energy and clean the house top to bottom even did all my windows
