Hello

Veteran LTTTCer here

Who has had IVF? What day transfer did you have? And what did you do after transfer ? BFN or BFP?

Had my transfer today and I'm scared I'm gonna go for a wee and it will drop out ha ha!

xxx

Hi Chaza

All my transfers have been on day 3, and I've never had any blastos from the remaining embryos.

Kinda took it easy (didn't exercise!) but otherwise nothing special. BFN first, chemical (low) BFP the second time, BFP the third time - I suspect this was down to the quality of the embryos, it was only the third time that we got one grade 4 where fragmentation was concerned.

Going to the loo is definitely fine! I remember having problems being massively constipated for days after the first time actually, so definitely go if you can ;-) Wishing you all the best luck xx

I've always had day 5 transfers, 1st two cycles BFN, 3rd (FET) Chemical BFP and 4th another BFN. First two I relaxed a lot and tried to look after myself and the embryos, 2nd two cycles I decided to carry on life as normal.
Haha it definitely won't drop out going to the loo, good luck.

Hi,
I've had two blast 5 days transfers the first was from a fresh cycle, monitored with Evie technology I had the transfer followed by acupuncture then carried on as the dr advised with my routine I was off work but visited friends and family etc it ended with a bfn I started my period 9 days post transfer.

Next transfer was a frozen blast the transfer went very smoothly I took two days off work and I spent this two days on the couch and in bed apart from showering and toilet it ended with my now 26 week bump.

I really don't know if the resting helped me get my BFP but if I went through IVF again I would chill out again after the transfer.
Best of luck x

Hello, I'm in the same boat, I'm starting my IVF program in a few weeks. The most important thing is to trust. To trust a clinic and it's stuff. If you trust, there is nothing to worry about I've made my choice and consider it right. I've chosen the Spanish clinic IEGRA TRES TORRES in Barcelona, because they have a guarantee pregnancy program. I've already discussed everything with my manager Elena (+44 (203) 411-45-85, Her English is fluent, there was no problem for us to talk, she answered all my questions very politely. My program starts soon, so good luck to us both)

Just seen you are pregnant congrats!!!! We've just started our ICSI journey and are just waiting for blood test results and we'll be good to go xxx

Ive had 3 and my DS was from my third attempt. First 2 were 3 dt and successful was 2dt. I felt like that everytime, I lay there for 20 mins on my first 2 but was bursting for loo after transfer on final attempt so literally shot off table to go! I really dont think it makes a difference but I still worried.
Good luck x

Hi everyone, I'm new to this forum.
I'm considering Ivf and looking into clinics based round south east uk. Has anyone got recommendations? And shared experiences at a clinic?

Hi
I have had ivf at a place in Hove called the agora, nice little place and wonderful staff. My only issue with them is they are always running late.
I don't know where your based but I would really recommend them.
I am now 26 weeks tomorrow (18/8/14)
Hope this helps x

Hi Toffeegirl
Congratulations!!!
Unfortunately that's too far for me I'm based in hertfordshire.
I've made up my mind to do IVF but all this injecting yourself etc is freaking me out. How did you find it? Is this your first cycle?
