when do you put your trimmings up?

I always aim for the 1st week of December but I get too excited and it goes up last week of November!! When I lived at my parents, it used to be the weekend before Christmas so sometimes afew days before the big day and I hated it, that's why it goes up so early now in my own home!!

About a week before Christmas as we have a real tree but we make a lot of our own decorations so that gets done bit by bit x

we put our up 12 days before Christmas and take then down 12 days after. i cant wait to put it up, an put the pressies under xx

Ooh, I don't know! I don't remember when I've done it in the past. Gotta have a real tree, so need to think about that.

Hubby usually refuses to help at all, but this year I've told him he's got to help with the tree - no way I can walk a 20 minute walk with a tree and 7 month bump!!!

Normally a week before Christmas, but this year the plan is to get them up early as i am due on the 17th. Means i can wrap presents for everyone and pop them under the tree all ready and organised (i don't normally do organised, but showing high promises this year with half the xmas presents already brought, LOL).

when we start recieving cards! lol. we put up those card holder things, and the tree, and not a lot else really! some houses round here are soooo well decorated at xmas. when i lived in america me my mum and dad and brother used to get in the car xmas eve night and drive round the streets looking at decorations. xmas is so cool! i just cant be bothered for some of the pointless build up lol and the expensiveness. and not meaning to sound like a moaning myrtle, but my mum and dad are getting divorced like now and it will be my first x mas with out the whole family, and i think that will upset me. x

Normally about 2 weeks before Christmas and take them down 12 days after but last year was mine and my now husbands first Christmas in our home together so I put them up on the 1st because I was so excited lol.

1st week of december will be exciting this year wont do it before baby arrives i dont think coz i want him to be part of it all even though he obviously wont have a blinking clue whats going on, still want him to be in the background xx

Ours goes up around the 11th December... the year we got married it went up the last week of November as i wanted xmas to last longer for the girls as we got married on boxing day

I usually get the itch to do it around NOV 1st but OH makes me wait untill the last week in November... may have a good excuse to do it early this year if I'm being induced mid November, w00t!! Ours doesn't tend to get taken down for 6 months or so after Christmas... because i'm hopeless XD
