Hi guys I have my nursery finished including a cot bed but little one won't be sleeping in there for months. I've got a swinging crib for our bedroom to co sleep but i need something for the sitting room. I need something where he can sleep through the day when I'm pottering around but that is enclosed with sides as I have two dogs. Been thinking of either a simple moses basket on a stand or chicco next to me. What's everyone else got or getting for their sitting room???

We have bought a moses basket for living room, only cost us £50 x

We got a Moses for downstairs from an Argos clearance shop only cost us £20 with a rocking stand. Xx

How about using a carry cot if you got one with your travel system? X

Moses basket in living room, and a bouncy chair and play gym.

I was going to use my carry cot on a Moses stand and bouncer for downstairs with Moses basket upstairs x

We have a snuzpod for the first few months in our bedroom. And the bassinet detaches and can be carried downstairs in the day. It's quite light so it's not a struggle lugging it around.

Hope your pregnancy is going well Hun? Haven't spoke to you in a while. 😊 Xx

We're just going to use the carry cot part of the travel system downstairs and moses basket upstairs xx

We've got the Moses basket in the living room and we just move it between there and the bedroom but we are in a flat.

I had a moses, but found myself using his carrycot as a day bed, its easier to move around when your cleaning etc :p xx

So far so good! I can't believe how quickly it's going. Just 8 weeks to go. How u getting on?

I think we're going to get a tiny love three in one rocker napper. Doubles up as a bouncer, gets great reviews online

Funny u should suggest that cos we have bought it and I love it! I'm still going to use this but I want something with bigger sides because my dogs are very nosey and can see them not leaving him alone as it's quite low to the ground.

We have decided to go for the chicco lullago travel crib. Anyone got one? We don't need the side down just for the sitting room so going to get this instead of the next to me. The snuzpod looks good too but think this is bigger.

I also had a Graco Contour Electra (used once grew out of the carrycot and could move) - similar to this one, except I had the neutral coloured one.

Its fab it has a raising and lowering matress, which is really roomy. A changing station and also comes with wee dangly toys. Its kinda like a playpen/mat/travel cot in one. It also has wheels which makes moving around easy. It folds really compact and is easy to carry/wheel about when folded.

Once Jackson outgrew the top and started to move, we lowered the matress and it became a good play pen for us.

Well worth the money. He still uses this when he stays at my mums.

I got mine on sale, have a wee look about as they bring out new ones all the time - if you maybe get an older edition (all do/have the same thing) could get a good bargain.

I'm doing ok. 😊 Glad you're well. Time is flying now. Eek! Xx

We live in a house but probably do the same with a Moses basket, but if our pram as a carry cot we use that as well during the day for sleeping and we have bouncer and playmat/gym xx
