Hi Guys,

Have not done my own thread for ages so here we go;

I am an IT nerd, a Trekkie and am a makeup artist - talk about a contradiction in hobbies from blokie to fem :)

Just wondered what sort of hobbies we all have.

I loved going to gigs and reading lots and lots of books. I am also into my formula one and bike racing. Just don't seem to have as much time but am looking forward to taking Seren to Donnington for her first GP, she will be the smallest Rossi fan there.

Aha nice one, I used to have a motorbike, I sold it once the bun arrived in the oven.

Any other girl bikers on here?

Music - love listening to it -
playing Trumpet and playing in our local band (have been with them now for over 10yrs!!)

Radio controlled cars/boats (get more fun out of building them - but have no time now)

Internet surfing!!

Eating is my fave hobby at the moment  love messing about on computers too.

Also, will sound sad here, but i love playing scrabble and UBI with OH on a weekend

Mine sounds quite sad too! - but I love my dolls house (its only half finished though now Heidi is here!)

Lisa, at least your dolls house is half finished - I haven't even put the windows in mine (got it 2 years ago) :?

i don't really have much time for hobbies. But when i do get the chance i like cycling and tennis and cooking and reading and gardening - loads of things actually. Its just getting time to do them.

Yep time plays a big part. Can't wait to start teaching Dom on some of my hobbies.

And eating is a hobby of mine too, probably my favourite hobby really :)

I like reading magazines, internet surfing, eating and cross stitching (although I haven't done any since I got pg). That makes me sound a right geek, but I'm not honestly!!

Reading
Witchcraft/Occult/Pheonominon (sp?)
and lots of Socialising with friends

I thought I was quite boring but I do sound interesting after all lol

Now, I am boring!!!! :(

surfing...the net, making powerpoint presentations and decorating (I love watching all these programmes about housing!...how sad!)

I used to love walking and swimming but now with my back problem, not quite as nice! :?

and watching CSI!!!!

not much really! I am glad Maheen is here, she gives me something to do, Lol!

I'm an amateur actress.

I belong to a theatre group set up by me and a few friends and we do a couple of productions a year for charity.

Taking a break for this year's summer outdoor show however. Last year we did 'Importance of being Ernest' and the combination of sun and corsets was enough to make me faint. Don't think I could cope with a bump!

We've a lot of footie fans, haven't we? Does that mean lots of cute kit babygro pics when the LO's arrive? Hope so!

I LOVE shopping, going for walks on sunny days, reading autobiographies (especially celebrity ones lol) and magazines, all aspects of beauty (I'm a beautician) and coming on here to talk to you guys!!

I love watching motorsport - F1, bikes, cars, etc (watching qualifying for San Marino at the moment). This will make me sound really, really sad but loved going on car runs when we lived down south - people with similar old marque cars going on wee drives to lovely places like Stonehenge and Cheddar Gorge etc.

I am quite girly, I love dressing hair and doing make up (my younger sis used to love this too!), but I also love getting my hands dirty and would love to be a builder!
