Stacey, I was thinking of getting the mama's & papa's travel system too, have you got it yet? whats it like? what colour is the lighter colour on it, I can't tell.

I went to the Mamas & Papas factory shop in Yorkshire. It's brilliant and full of great bargains. I have to say I did find most of the prams quite heavy so still not sure what to choose.

I have just about got everything that I will need apart from a mattress, sheets, thermometer, few more baby grows and vests and a few toys.

I still need to get the toiletries and my hospital bag sorted.

I have spent a fortune and will buy the high chair, stair gates and play pen after baby is born and when needed.

Loads of clothes, sterliliser, bottles, cot mobile, baby bath, top & tail bowl etc. Loads of bits and bobs really we're just getting something when we have the money & OHs mum and dad are getting our travel system!

A top and tail bowl is for washing baby, it has 2 halves one to wash top end and one to wash bottom (tail) end and a thing in the middle for flannel. I've ordered a winnie the pooh one:

u dont need a bath.. i think they are a waste of space.. charlotte came in the bath with me.. or in the sink..and this one will do the same - even tho i had 2 baths for charlotte.. thye were crap..u cant carry them full of water they r to heavy..

i haven't dared buy anything yet... i'm so desperate to go shopping but i'm still really scared that i'll jinx things. am v jealous of anyone with a nursery too - we've only got a 1 bed flat and knowing that trog will be sleeping in with us for a good few months, we're not going to move until we need to... can't wait to have a lovely nursery to decorate and buy furniture for though!

Im also planning on getting the baby bath that sits ontop of your own bath so u dont need to carry it and you let the water out straight down plug hole. Are those any good?

i had both one u put on the bath.. tbh.. they were both a waste of cash..the one on the bath killed my back..but its up to u.. i had the one on the bath given to me.. the other one i bought from mother care.. waste of money if u ask me.. i might get one of those support things.. but i doubt it
