The Clomid Thread - 6 BFP's!

i dont know Jojo0721 as my cycle has varied between 32 - 50 days since came off bcp 2 yr ago and this is the first time i've o'd.
Am I right in thinking that if the clomid has made me O around cd18 then my period should come 18 days later or would it be 14 days later?????? help anyone?

I caved in and did a test this aft but it was a BFN but surely as its only CD31 could it maybe still be too early?
I've had a dull ache in my lower stomach and back all day but wonder if its just my insides been in shock after having an egg finally travel down my tubes!

Wow, I'm pleaswe clomid is working for you and making you pop an egg! I don't want to burst your buble at this stage but a week after ovulation the embryo won't even have implanted yet so all your symptoms are un-related. I don't mean to be harsh I just know how it feels to think your pregnant when its really just your mind playing a cruel trick on you.

As for ov date - you generally ovulate a day after your + opk. So if you got + on a sunyou count tuesday as 1dpo.

Thanks itisbabytime I see, so that means i'm 11 dpo as im on CD31 now then. so is my cycle likely to be about 37 days??

Hey girls, hope everyone's ok. I've not been online lately, have been wrapped up in my quest to lose weight and it's been a huge distraction for me which has been really good.

Generally your leutal phase is around 14 days but can vary. If you are 11dpo now you won't be far off being able to test! Wait till the weekend ans use first pee of the day for an accurate result. Oh and we all swear by First Responce Early Result tests. Good luck and ley us know what it says!!

awe i hope you have enuff lomid stored up in ur body for it to still effective....im sure someone conceived the cycle after coming off clomid or am i wrong?

Im still here...this month has been really hard. This month is the anniversary of our first miscarriage so thats on my mind plus I think this is another failed round. I've been testing everyday and its been BFN. My period is due today and nothing so far...so I dont know what to think. I've been doing nothing but crying the past 2 days.

As for me, I'm cd11 of my first natural cycle since stopping the Clomid... Obviously not feeling much right now lol. Getting some ov tests this week cos I'm interested in whether I'll ov without Clomid. I've lost 6lb so far, just another 12 to go! Although I'd like to lose more so if I keep going with what I'm doing, it's totally possible that I could lose more so I'm excited about that and it's definitely keeping me busy which is good! x

and it is very painful this time around. the only good thing is that its only 2 days late which isnt normal for me. I'm usually about 2-4 wks late. Dont know what my next step is.

Miss J....so happy about weight loss!!! The last time i got pregnant naturally I had just started a high protein low carb diet and I got pregnant about a month later. Sadly it ended in another miscarriage. Hope everything goes well for you this month. I might start the diet again.

Thanks IBT, all I've done is count calories on the myfitnesspal app on my phone and I also do 30-40 minutes on my exercise bike every day. I read somewhere that 1 bmi point is 6lb so if it is then I only need to drop 6 more pounds but I'd rather be under the bmi limit than on it if that makes sense? Seeing the numbers on the scales go down is actually spurring me on. x
