Blimey Bella that sounds pretty intense. I thought I had Ov pains last cycle but nothing like that. Hope it eases off a bit so you can BD without too much discomfort x

its starting to feel like af pains....bad ones at that....hope its worth it lol
tbh im just grateful to be "feeling" ovulation, must mean the clomid is working for me tho if it could work a little bit lesspainful that would be great lol

phew glad its not only me then, i was a bit worried tbh as they were so intense, its still hurting but not unbearable
have yours been the same intensity every round of clomid?

I had Ovulation pains.. well they felt like it and when I researched it it matched the description. Sharp cramps in one side of uterus on the left side for about 20 mins.. On the 9th July 2012. Then I had cramping like AF pains all across for about 4-5 days then on the 25th July i had the pain again on the same side bout more stabbing and sharper at 6DPO.

I hope it was Ovulation pains for me..

Yes for the first two cycles were both very painful, my first cycle on my right side and second on my left but I think my second was more intense. This cycle has actually been mild but my belly was very tender. Has eased off today though. X

I had mega strong ovulation pain on clomid and it lasted a day and a half. I used to feel ovulation on normal cycles (maybe because I have polycystic ovaries?) but on clomid the pain lasted much longer and was much more intense, it took my breath away. I think it's a very good sign and shows that you're releasing a nice large mature eggy!

It can also help sustain a pregnancy as I ovulated on the left on the clomid cycle that I got my bfp and when I had an ultrasound they said I'd got a large luteal cyst on the left ovary from where the egg had been released and that was a good thing as it can help keep your progestrone levels nice and high!

Good luck for this cycle girls....I hope to be joining you very soon. My pesky ovaries are playing up since my operation....I'm on CD29 and haven't ovulated yet. It's typical isn't it....I was OV-ing naturally on CD18 since my m/c but wasn't able to TTC at the time but now that I can, my body won't comply! I think the pain killers may have delayed OV as I heard ibuprofen can have this effect. Hopefully I'll OV soon then I can go onto clomid next cycle!

Well I will be taking my first clomid pill of this cycle tonight since I'm cd 2. Waiting til just before bed. Reeeeeally hoping for no symptoms like last time, could I be as lucky again??? Hope so! Still have a little bit of AF cramping and I'm bad enough with that!

The good thing is I'm off work this week so if I do get bad symptoms then at least I'll be in my own house and not at work. Are you meant to have symptoms whilst you're taking the pills ie cd 2-6? Or do they kick in a bit later? x

So happy for you! I think I may possibly perhaps maybe be 5DPO today but am pretty clueless really given I don't use OPKs! I've had a few cramps the last few days but nothing like you girls have been describing as potential OV pains.

BDd last night and will probably BD every other day now as I am CD17 today and last cycle was 29 days. I really think I've OVd already, or maybe I'm just looking for excuses for a BD break ha ha!

Hmmm lots of AF type cramps today but surely it's a bit early for implantation cramps at CD17?

Hey ladies

Just thought i'd update at were i was, feeling a little excited so figured i'd chat on here!

So just taken my first round of clomid cd2-cd6, im now on cd8. My cbfm asked for its first stick today popped it in and it came back high reading!! Skipped the low readings completely. So at least i know the clomid is working! Hopefully im growing a big strong egg.

I've got some cheapie opk sticks just so i can double check ov, plus it will be nice to see my surge come and go...and for the first time ever i've finally managed to remember to temp chart!

Hi Ladies

I know this is not he section but because I have been around this topic for a while I thought id pop in to say hello and post an image of tonight's pregnancy test, as I do have PCOS and on Metformin and was going to see about Clomid soon. So I took it at 17:30pm today. And I have two images to show you.. Its the same test just Ive tweaked the image so you can see the lines better. Im 12DPO. Can anyone see anything I can when its tweaked but my eyes are not very good so I need to zoom in a little. Could this be the start of my Line spotters please? You may need to save them and open them to zoom in a little because they are the little cheap ones. Would appreciate it
