Surprise - IVF!

Well, after failed clomid cycles after ovarian drilling I was told IVF was the only option and that it is a 12 month wait where I am. I had resolved myself to that and made exciting plans and goals for the next 12 months, only to get a call this morning to say I've been reviewed and because of previous delays and problems I've already covered the waiting period and they can start pretty much straight away! I am in total shock. I can't get my head around it at all. I'm excited but completely terrified, not of the procedures but of the fact this might really happen now and its been so long coming that I can't even remember what it felt like to get into this in the first place! I am completely blown away.

Anyone who has been through IVF, how long was it from the first information meeting to starting the cycle?

That's great news bojangles. I self funded and did short protocol so started the cycle after my initial appointment. Best of luck!
